Adding plates to the side lanes was great; but now mid laners just roam 24/7
While my mid laner is afk csing; trying to take a plate... Enemy mid roams with 100-0 capability and easily takes tower fb with his jg.

Maybe im old school but if your midlander isnt able to follow up do to the danger of going thru brushes towards your bot lane then the best thing to do is push in and get some plates. I assume you mean champs who are more than capable of following but the player legit has no idea whats going on or even knows the game has a minimap.
