A list of champions that should be looked at for reworks for 2017
So after Galio and Warwick are finished, Riot will have finished all champions they have current announced within the year 2016 that they planned on reworking. With that being said, here is a list I think Riot should look at, once they are done with the current as we move forward to 2017.
Aatrox
Current Flaws
-Is always in a state where he is op and lacks counter play, or is simply very under powered. -Toolkit has near nothing to do with his lore -Very Auto reliant -Lack Identity
1-So with his current toolkit, he is in a state, where you will either break him and make him impossible to play against, for that's just the nature of his toolkit, he simply jumps on you and wacks you to death. These type of champions, historically have balance issues.
2-So recently riot has made it clear they want a champions toolkit to tie directly with their lore, if that is the case, than Aatrox, honestly does not do that. Aatrox is a god like being who inspires the inner berserker war pride out of his comrades, a person who has always worked in the background. So a blood sucking sword vampire melle toolkit honestly didn't make much sense. I guess in one part it made sense in that he is "leading the charge" but that's just about it.
3-Lack of identity, when you are playing aatrox, what is your job to do in the game? So far it looks like his job is to either split the enemy team to death, or get a good knock up in team fights. So if that's the case..why play aatrox when other champions do both those things and are far better at it?
Akali
Current Flaws
-Lacks counter play when ahead -Lacks actual mechanical play -Shares jobs with Diana -Also could use a touch up in her lore
1-So we have all been victims to a fed Akali, Akali is a champion where once she gets ahead, and if the play is compentant she says "i'm going to kill your ad carry, and live and their is near nothing you can do about it, for all my attacks are guarantee hits, and even if you have flash, it doesn't matter, for i have 4" This is just..this is how you make supports and team tanks cry, when you invent a champion who says "their is no possible way for you to save your adc".
2-So, primary because of gun blade and her ultimate..when Akali does something, unless it's a quadra or a penta kill, nothing about it is impressive. She simply pressed R and a active, and boom your AD carry is dead. The main impressive thing to admire about akali players is how they micro manage team fights and target selection, other than that, nothing else.
3-So the big reason why Akali use to suck is for people went "why play akali when you can play diana? who has the same ultimate, and serve as a AP bruiser with some cc?" As long as Akali and Diana share so many simmiliar traits, this can happen again at any time. For both Akali and Diana to shine, we need these champions to take a bigger step away from eachother, and give both more individual identities.
4-her lore sucks, and was written by a 12 year old edge lord. : ^ )
Irelia
Current Flaws
-Can build 1/2 damage items, than full tank and WILL one shot your adc
-Is she a bruiser or is she a assassin? Identity problems
-Is she suppose to split, or is she suppose to be a flanker/diver? Idenitty problems
-Toolkit is honestly stale and boring
1-So irelia, where to begin? well First off, she will build her tri force, MAYBE bork, than go full tank, and just off of sheen procs she will one shot your ADC, Q/Auto/E/Auto, boom your ADC just died. Not exactly fair how a champion can go full tank but will do more damage than your FULL AD assassin mid laner.
2-Is she a bruiser or a assassin? so she builds like a bruiser but at the current moment has a complete assassin play style, of getting in, killing the adc as fast as possible, than getting out. If this is how riot wants her to be played than they need to rework her as such. For at the current moment she has a assassins toolkit, with the ratios to allow her to build tanky, she's basically the original ekko.
3-That being said, while in team fights her toolkit may feel exciting, all and all, in lore we are given this queen of blades, psychic telpath blade mistress, but in game, the closest thing we see to that is her q and her R, other than that, she basically uses her powers as if she was swinging a base ball bat. Which is kinda odd. If anything, Katarina fits the bill of the "psychic blade user" a lot better.
Jax
Now I know i'm going to get some hate on this, for people LOVE jax, but lets be honest..you know how scarra says "in any meta, where vayne is meta, their is a problem" well that is exactly how Jax is. Jax is not a champion who was designed for long term success, he is not a champion who was built to sustain the times. So when a champion like Jax is meta, than something is wrong with the game. For his toolkit is basically guarenteed for self failure and here is why.
-100 percent of his damage is through auto attacks, and auto attack steroids while being a melee champion
-He is completely designed around his steroids/empowered stat abilities
-While we would need to do a actual contest to prove it, he is literally hailed as the "one v one king, no one can out trade me late game" champion, and frankly if we are talking your typical summoners rift, no cheese game, all normal sums and builds, I don't think their is a champion who can out duel a jax in the late game if everyone has all ults and sums.
So basically Jax suffers through a problem where he doesn't exactly beats you for he out played you, he simply out MATHs you, it's a battle of 2+2=4 but jax is 4+4=8 so my 8 beats your 4, git rekt scrub. He doesn't exactly have champion mechanics but to play him simply requires well done, target selection mechanics, and understanding in how to play the macro game to push for towers. Maybe i'm harsh on his play style, but I really just don't see his play style healthy for the game. I personally believe a champion shouldn't completely revolve around auto steroids in their toolkit in how they do damage. I sorta broke my format in how I described the champions for Jax, but I felt a champions as cool as Jax, deserved abit of a longer explanation.
Tryndemere
Flaws
-100 percent relies on his auto attacks and auto steroids to do damage while being a melee champion -His ult is just frankly really hard to play against
The viking berserk er, in league we have two champions who are known and feared for their split pushing prowess. One is hailed as a mechanical hero, who micro manages everything he does, and the other is cursed and shamed. If you pull off Jax you are praised and sung of, if you pull of tryndemere, you are basically the ugly step sister that no one wanted.
1-he is a mellee champion who focuses on a crit/attack speed build, so he can one shot people as fast as possible, he literally plays wackamole with his opponents. No actual out plays were done, he hits you, and than screams at you so you are basically stunned as you attempt to run away.
2-The problem with his ult, is that no one is quite sure how long it lasts. He is rarely played, so it's not like you just get use to it. Their is no actual indicator for how long it lasts. So when he is at zero health you are just fighting him going "do I have enough time/health to wait it out, or should I just run and give up on him?" which is honestly quite annoying.
So their you have it, that is my list of champions I hope are looked at in 2017
He's kit is basically Feast or Famine deal.
Being the fact his kit is just way to simple and its unhealthy for many number of reasons... Sometimes Simple is not good for the game. If you say Garen is simple, he is ment to be simple.
(Just not as op as they made her to be) which should take place very sooner or later in next year. So I would take him out of the list in my opinion, Ironically i used to main him.

there probably will be
