The Thing I Don't Understand About Kayle

Ok so we can all agree Kayle early game is REALLY bad and its because she scales hard into the late game. The thing I dont understand how she can have LITERALLY nothing going for her early, there's not one good thing she has early. The idea is to just sit back farm and scale up but even farming safely is not even good your only form of farming is her E and Q and Q isnt the best for killing minions.

Trading is pointless, if you fight back at all you will just lose the trade harder than you would just walking away as fast as you can. Your damage early is really close to being equal to an cannon minion. Again I understand she scales SUPER good into the late game but so does a lot of champions and their early game is no where close to as terrible as hers.

A few examples Jax Yasuo Vayne Veigar

This is what doesn't make sense to me. On paper it seems the trade off for Kayle's laughable early game is justified because she scales, but then you take a look at other late game champions and who are just as impact as Kayle later in the game with out having the worse early game imaginable.

I know this may come across as me just complaining and I am a little to an extent but I genuinely don't understand how Kayle could have such a bad early game because she scales and other champions don't and still scale really well.

IMO she is the only balanced hyper carry in the game as her early is hot trash while her late game is God like, the funny thing is that Jax yasuo Vayne should be like her but sadly that is not the case which is why they are broken take a look at their win/play rate tells you everything, back to kayle she is getting nerfed next patch so*[zombie-brand-mindblown]*

I think it’s more the fact that you definitely have to play her differently from before. I personally tend to max my E first if I’m anticipating having to trade more in the landing phase. I also tend to go Fleet Footwork and Overheal on her, as well as Taste or Blood and Ravenous Hunter, yo help with her early game sustain. I was almost thinking going full game and doing Legend:Bloodline, but she needs that Attack Speed too much IMO.

Many people do not understand how Kayle is meant to be played imo.

Firstly lets start with Kleptomancy.. This is a favored rune with top win rates for reason. Damaging an enemy gives golds and rewards. Often you get nice little item drops like wards/mana potions and other potions. The kleptomancy build together with fleet foorwork, time warp tonic and biscuit is ideal. You need to get through early.. Game. Your late game is no issue. She is super strong so you dont need extra rune power in late.

So with kleptomancy you need to damage enemy champions? How do you farm then?

Well this is why we max Q. You use it to take down low minions. (And proc it on enemy hero also if possible as it is splash damage (this timing is where 'some skill' comes in and playing wave management.) Your E should be used almost always on enemy champion. (maybe to take down a Canon minion if needed) This drops gold and other item rewards. (Eg. Mana potion that is intrical in sustaining in lane and other potions. Sometimes wards.

My secoindary runes are ravenous hunter and taste for blood. The healing when you do evolve is insane and keeps you active and a beast late game. It also funny enough is the combo with largest win rate. You never have to really back other than to buy items, and can rotate, to take a full wave, and in turn heal from 10% to 100% off a wave.

The trick with Kayle, is to play safe. Focus on farming without taking damage if possible. Funny enough he decimates heroes like darius with ease, if you play your range right.

But Kayle is an outsustain hero early game. Its about patience. Passive farming. As you hit your ranged mode, you in turn can start getting more aggressive.

But with the above build.. You can litterally win the laning phase trades over time in the early game, forcing your oppenent to back. You will need range to finish most kills however.****
