Why aren't people maxing w second on Ziggs?
It got a crazy buff to the cd while maxing it a few patches ago. It does comparable damage to e max while also giving you the tower destruction threshold increase and great mobility for a mage.

it has a longer CD than E (until 4th point), and its his escape tool. meaning if its on CD he has no opportunity to survive a gank, unless he kills them both ofc.
without W his death is assured.
basically you dont want to be throwing your W onto the wave to clear it. that means you have to put the points into E instead.
