Ranked Solo Queue. Premades vs Solo Players. Possible solutions?
It's been said before and will be said many times after, but league desperately needs a solo only queue for ranked playing. I enjoy and respect the idea of teamwork and playing with friends, I truly do. And I wish I could more often. But when I don't have 1-4 friends online to play with when I am online, I find that I end up losing far more often. In any non-singles (swimming, track and field, bicking, etc...) sport, teamwork is essential. But there is still a level of individualism and personal experiences.
Players, although noticed by their team, are looked at individually. When a major league team drafts a player, they don't take 4 of his friends too. So why does it seem almost as if League of Legends is trying to rid itself of the "solo player". With the new dynamic queue system, it would seem that "solo players" are still welcomed, but now you can also have up to 5 premade players on a team. Great for them that they had people online to play with. But it isn't fair to play 5 singles against anything more than a duo.
Solo players will end up with a tilted player, an afk, and/or a "troll" far more often that a premade will because they lack the respect, understanding, and knowledge, for and about, their random teammates. Premades tend to have a better communicative relationship to their team members (even those who aren't in there premade) as well as a more patient and calm mindset than a "Solo Player" does with their teammates.
If premades are the future for League of Legends, then could we suspect a form of in-game voice chat? The message box is nice and all, but nothing beats talking to everyone on your team through a microphone/ headset. Info is shared quicker and imo, people also tend to tilt less often.
cough, OR you willl more than likely get some one who has more skill and can pick up what weight you cant ( obviously implying that that person carrying is going to get teh most lp and there for be rewarded for his skillfull play ). MOST OF THE TIME HOWEVER, when you make the system SOOOOO open ended that any newb can join who cant even comprehend the basics to the point he is actually adding more weight instead of carrying ANY OF IT .... you get a situation where people who are OKAY at the game are put behind a wall where they have to have played the game for YEARS in order to think about getting anywhere ( especially in "solo" que, where you have two people who are working together in a duo ). THEN this concept of "TOXICITY" come in where people who get TIRED OF THE SHIT and arent being rewarded for ANYTHING THEY DO and they go off pissed all day, and to make things worse RIOT is working against you to prevent you from carrying your team solo. ANYWAYS, I digress ...
