Teemo vs Illaoi

I couldnt farm lvl 1-7 bc temmo was doing a really good job of killing me with autos and stopping last hits with his blind. I think I was at 30 cs at 6.5 minutes. Once my q got some lvls I was able to last hit at the cost of almost all of my mana and I didnt have enough to use my ult.

Eventually, Q my own q harras caused teemo to back off a little, but it was almost like he couldnt stand to play passive after wrecking me for most of the game. He kept trying to play around my q even though he hadnt backed for boots. I killed him first because he even kept trying to stand his ground when he was my vessel and lower than 35% hp. Then I had enough hp to farm a wave and a half after I killed him so I backed for phage (hp and dmg) and the little mr cloak. Of course, teemo bought only dmg items and continued trying to fight me, but this time, I had hp, resistances, more dmg AND my ultimate.

Teemo would have been much better off if he had backed for mana regen and armor. That way, he might have been able to increase his cs lead with his blind and his ability to stay in lane. If I hadnt gotten the kill on him I probably wouldnt have bought the mr cloak. I probably should have, but I wouldnt have. He would have been able to keep me docile or at least pulled a gank from ww. As it turned out. He completely gave me the lane by allowing me to buy hp, ad, and mr with one back. Worse yet, he refused to accept that he was no longer the lane bully and died under tower multiple times. He should have farmed krugs at least once, because after illaoi clears a wave there is not much you can do to stop from becoming her vessle. No minion block.

Now, the reason I got SO fed is because teemos team tried ganking a fed illoai a little later in the game. It went poorly for them because they brought 0 hard cc which I can testify does indeed wreck illaoi if you disrupt her jumping around during ulti.

So tips for illaoi:

1. ranged champions can dominate her early game, but need to give ground once her q has lvls. Buy some boots or something. Expect her to dominate around lvl 9 if shes not been killed.
2. if she clears a wave under your tower back the fuck off unless you want to have her tentacle babies.
3. you need hard cc, disengage and ranged dmg to beat her ult.
4. I expect illaois worst nightmare is gnar top ww jung.
