Be careful about Kayn buffs, Rito.

I've got ~35 games on Kayn so far. I know it's not a lot, and I know I'm a silver scrublord, but blue form isn't dramatically weaker than red form, it's just harder to pull off -- red form is just much easier than blue since you heal so much and have CC. Blue form you actually have to be intelligent about how to engage, and you can't take on entire teams at once unless you're massively fed.

If you're going to buff Kayn, leave red alone, it's fine as it is. If you want to buff blue, don't straight up buff his damage, since he already one shots squishies, but maybe increase the speed of his Q or lower the CD on his E while in blue form. Would make blue a bit easier to pull off, and close that gap between the two forms a bit.

I mean, aside from CC and crazy healing on red form, isn't blue just bad in compassion because the ulti doesn't really deal any particular amount of damage? It has good AD scaling but by the time you have enough it's already kinda late.

Altho i can't say i exactly understand his blue passive either....

Blue does way more damage to squishies and is more mobile. The healing factor isin't even relevant when you can flank a carry and one shot them before they can do anything and get out.

Blue really can do that? From what i saw they just try to flank and get instantly deleted or ulti, deal no damage and then get deleted.

Meanwhile Red form beats enemies 1v2 and wrecks havoc in teamfights.

Yes it can... Those people that you saw where either behind, or build wrong items, or just miss their abilities. When im doing well on blue kayn, if my w lands on a squishy target they are pretty much dead, because they will then get hit by the rest of the combo unless they will get Zilean ulti or something to save them.

I dunno, they were running lethality/Ad but issue is that other team always saw them coming on wards.

Thus they ran face first onto a stone wall so to speak, and being an assassin that's a disaster whilst red can tank or heal through most of it at least initially.

Blue has ridiculous burst, and can in fact do that. Red is better at sustained fights and teamfighting. :P

Blue's passive is like Zed's ult.

With Zed's ult, you push R and then a % of all the damage you do for the next few seconds is dealt again, right?

With Kayn's blue passive, it's that same effect but it applies the moment you do damage. It only works for the first 3s of combat then goes on CD for 10s, and your ult resets the CD on your passive.

oh, thanks, didn't realize it was like Zed's ulti.

problem with blue is that if your Q + W + AA + ignite doesn't kill them you're left with a useless ult

Blue Kayn's ult resets his passive, which lets you burst again. And it does 500+ damage anyway, so it's not really bad at all.

Blue form is drastically weaker than red. But I think his ult damage should be buffed instead of just feeling like a heal for the red form and take a little power out of the rest of his kit to compensate.

What I don't understand is they are going to buff the scaling on Kayn's ultimate, which will affect both forms if I am not mistaken, and we will be left with the same reasons why red is just better. You already build a lot of AD on Red Kayn.
