What do I do in this lane?

Have no idea what I should have done to give my team a chance to win the game.

Was laning as Ahri against Lux (I had ignite, she had barrier).

My top and bot lanes were both losing hard. Lux never moved forward for cs unless she had barrier up. She also never even went for a q on me. She just farmed with E from 1400 range, occasionally used Q for a couple cs, and otherwise stayed way back. I used my ult to all-in her a few times, but with her W and barrier, I never had enough damage to kill her. Then her jungler would just show up and babysit the lane to give her time to recall.

Felt like I was much better in the lane, but she had so much safety and waveclear that there was nothing I could do about it. I couldn't pressure her tower. I couldn't shove and roam without losing my tower (the first time I did shove and roam bot, Shyv came mid and dropped rift and they took tier 1 and 2 towers).

What should I do here?

Better map awareness, out CS and shove lane (with ward) to deny her farm. Roam earlier, (or immediately at 6, shove then roam). Always try to shove the wave before you leave lane, and pay attention to when their jungler gank a different lane, meaning he won't be around and punish you for shoving. Alternatively, freeze lane to deny her CS, forcing her to go deeper, and become vulnerable to trades and ganks. Also accept that not every game is winnable, as your team mates might be feeding to oblivion.

Lux isn't good at tower taking at all, until she has a shit ton of ap (like any mage). Shoving and roaming is practically always the best mid strategy, especially on a champion like Ahri. You just chose a poor time to roam by not taking rift herald into account.

This isn't about laning, its about the enemy jungler camping you.

Normally you shove lane and roam, or walk up to the turret and try to chunk her with a eqw. But you can't move if the enemy jungler in sitting on your lane, its over you lose unless your jungler helps.

Take the hit and play it safely. You may not be able to do anything, but if their jungler is sitting, he's missing CS and lane pressure in other lane, where your jungle can gank, or help you set up a counter gank.

as someone who mains both Lux and Ahri Ahri used to be a good lane counter to Lux , but it changed when they removed her q ms , this changed and became a skill match up

Lux outscales Ahri so hard , but she has a weak early , so what u should do is leave the lane and start roaming " if u cant roam cuz your bot lane is pushing then there is nothing u can do about it like any other match up " Anyway , at some point u can kill Lux later in the game even if she has w and barrier , Ahri is a burst mage and scales well when it comes to single target kill as long as you land charm , also you can consider buying Zhonia , it's a good Option to counter Lux burst from her Ult if you got snared by her Q , you can also take Nullifying Orb , it's helpful in early against Burst mages generally like Lux , Annie , Ahri, and also Veiger Honestly While laning as Ahri the only thing you can do is to wait her to mis position and get into your Q range , land 2 Full q's then go in , if the enemy is smart enough to not to let you hit them with Q , then shove the wave and roam
