Bard is a mystical entity from another world, like the anti-void or something who has come to runeterra to save it from utter chaos.

Joke aside, I'm starting to doubt Riot's lore team even exists and that they just put 2 random sentences on paper for each new champion. From Singed's lore update taking more than FUCKING TWO AND A HALF YEARS to none of the promised post-retcon lore delivered... But hey, lore does not make money, LC$BIGPLAYS do.
