How's my champion pool look?

Top Main: Yorick Secondary:Illaoi Third: Quinn

Mid Main:Katarina Secondary:Ekko ThirdAhri

See i want to know if my champion pool is good or not, the issue i have is with Quinn i used to main fiora but i don't trust her strength anymore. For mid i know ahri and ekko are better picks but i'm better with katarina.

I mean, according to op.gg ur in bronze, and tbh, in low elo, you can win on any champion provided you are good at them. The meta is much less defined at low elo, so, just pick what you're best at. I'm in silver, and i can still solo carry games on LB despite her high nerf and poor win rate because i know the champion, and her power isn't what matters at that elo, its how good i am on her. If you are an experienced kat, you will beat a player with little experience on syndra for example, despite syndra being more meta rn

I like your pool especially for low elo. I would recommend getting good at those mid champions and push your lane and roam. In bronze people don't really have good map awareness so it's easy to roam bot and pick up kills with kat and snowball the game out of control. Btw Fiora is still very good for soloQ. Just split push and take towers ez pz. gl with your climb/games

I'd pick up a top laner who can bring hard CC. An AD mid laner could also be good, for when its necessary.

I used to use Corki mid but he's too difficult, and i don't like any normal tanks they're really boring. I like galio and poppy a little but poppy got nerfed so lol i might try galio out more but i feel his passive is useless at times.

Poppy is still extremely strong, and so is Galio. If you enjoy playing them, definitely use them.

If you're good with them, then your champion pool is fine. If you're doing bad with them, then practice more. Your actual champion doesn't even matter, just your skill with them and knowledge of them.

Suggestions Top: Malphite Nautilus Maokai Mid: Brand Viktor Swain

well quinn can be a flex pick for top, jungle, mid, and adc if needed

ekko can flex top and mid

yorick can flex top,jungle

octobitch can only top and dont have alot of great match ups currently

kat is ok mid , i personally thing ahri is all around a better champ

as PohPe suggested i am a fan of top lane hard cc /tank champs like mao, malph but in the current meta mao is a bit nerfed and not as dominate (mao top main) swain can play top and does well (super sleeper op right now) viktor is always viable mid (currently) and he just out scales most champs

but if you want another flex pick i would pick up galio ... for top/jungle an i have played him mid and support as well...

so other champs to consider Fizz Jayce Karma Rumble Sion considering their flexability in what lane they can play

but the more champs you know and learn the better cuz of the knowledge you gain and would know how to play against them when facing them

Illaoi is one of my most played champions, i'v played every single posible match up with her several times and only found trouble with 2, i don't think she has that many bad matches at all actually. as you said all you have to do is outplay the opponent and be aggressive, she is literally the best for that. I'v won sooooo many games with her just because i can land her skillshots at any angle, if the opponent can't dodge you then they basically insta-lose.

tbh if you're just starting, there are two ways to play the game to climb.

  1. Out-aggro them. This involves just playing aggressively and outplaying your opponents.

  2. Have a better idea of how the game works and how to close out games.

I think it's better to get a grasp of the game and then learn to outplay, because if you end up hardstuck Silver, I know personally one of my least favorite things either is playing with a hardstuck low elo on a mechanically difficult champion. I think that's frustrating for everyone because if you get that far and you don't know how to play anything else you'll probably only really have games where you either pop off or feed with no in-between and for that reason I'd say move to stuff that's less complex and learn the game instead of just learning to outplay and out-aggro.

Fiora is fine right now but if you're uncomfortable with her I don't blame ya.. Illaoi is a really strong splitpusher/duelist and so is Yorick. Quinn is a straight ganker and lane bully. I say swap out one of your splitpushers (possibly Yorick) for a stronger teamfighter like Rumble or Darius.

As for mid, I think you should swap from Ekko to Ziggs because you're lacking real teamfighters and/or mages with waveclear and, unless you're REALLY good with Kat, swap her out too.
