How "unique" are unique passives?

So i feel kind of dumb asking this, but just how unique are the passives on support items? like if i build item 3504 + item 3107 am i only getting +10% or do i get more? Like is it just to prevent people getting 6 item 3107 and healing for metric butt loads, while also having a huge after death effect.

Unique Passives that have a name for example Phantom Dancer and HexDrinker/Maw share the "Lifeline Passive", these 2 items don't stack. If they unique passive doesn't have a name then the only limiter is buying more copies of it. Hope thats clear enough.

I believe if they have a name they're unique to others with that same name. If they have no name just same item.

If it just says "unique" all it means is that you can only get that particular stat once from that item but you can still get that stat from other items.

For example: item 3072 has an unique passive that gives 20% lifesteal. If you get another one all you would be getting is 80 more AD but if you get item 3153 you can still get more lifesteal that way.

Now if the passive is "unique: X" aka it has a name you can only have that passive once and only once. Doesn't matter if another item has another unique passive with the same name. You will only get the passive in question once. So you aren't doubling the effect of the passive or getting extra benefits from it.

An easy example are item 3046 item 3156 item 3053 which all have the names passive "lifeline" but you aren't getting 3 shields ever. Only one will proc.

This is done to prevent people from stacking certain items due to their passives. Could you imagine if item 3031 passive stacked? It would be a nightmare

Energized and Heal Power are designed to stack with each other, but unique passives with varying effects will activate as long as they're not overlapping. I.e., you can stack energized items but only one does damage while the others still apply all other (non-damage) effects like the shock, Slow and range boost.

Special note is THIS MEANS MASTERWORK ITEMS STACK as long as they dont have named passives.

item 3153 item 3389 item 3071 item 3380 item 3383 item 3190 (Zhonyas Paradox, Frozen Fist, Wraithblade, Trinity Fusion, Forgefire Cape, and item 3390 don't stack. Rabadons Deathcrown should stack with Cap, but I haven't proven yet.)
