now i wonder if the VGU team will decide to keep the duo lane mechanics, because most of mordekaiser mains i cross on the reddit mordekaiser mains discord mostly play him botlane
Big Lincoln4 votesi don't think the mord VGU will be that massive tbh. his spells are all thematic and functional, he just needs more levers/counterplay and a condition to his passive. it's not like Urgot or Poppy levels of awful kit design
i think regardless of having duo lane mechanics, as long as he has ranged poke he could probably still pass as a decent substitute for an ADC

Ahristocats1 votesand give him enough damage to all in 2v2 unless you increase his sustain/shielding power massively so he doesn't need to kill the enemy laners constantly to survive
because that's current morde, his shielding/healing power is like decent at best, but cannot make him holding a lane forever, the reason he can lane is because he's able to kill the enemy laners

Also I really am not a fan of Morde rn, like Big Lincoln says I think he really needs more counterplay options since it's almost impossible to dodge or avoid any of his current spells if he has an ally to lock you down/help him speed himself up.
Malicious Metal1 votesCan't speak for all Mordekaiser mains but the outcry over his rework was Riot trying to force him into bot lane instead of just having it there as an option. I honestly like both Solo lane and Duo lane Morde, the latter simply because it's fun to play him with a premade friend.
