How do skilled people "carry" in silver to get to higher ranks?
I won't say I'm challenger material, but I know how to win games based on what champion I'm playing and who I'm playing against, when I should just farm, when I reach my power spikes, what to build to counter enemies (MR, Armour Pen, etc.) etc. I'm knowledgeable and all that. I've been able to carry games, and no matter what happens, I always try my hardest to make comebacks.
#But silver is a fucking shit-hole.
Last year, it took me forever to get out of silver. It was my first year playing ranked, and I only started because my "Kennen is toxic" post got met with nothing but "Lol ur unranked." When I hit Gold, I was completely astounded by how much better players are in general! Less trolling feeders, and less newcomers in their provisions! It was amazing, and I actually felt happy playing in gold.
But oh, no. The new season hits, and my 8-2 provisions shit me down to S3. And now I gotta deal with it all again!
#TL;DR So I just want an answer from some Diamond elitist. When you're playing ADC, and your top lane goes Draven and feeds 0/10 in the first ten minutes, your jungle takes skarner with ignite (so he's basically ignorable), and your support goes Malphite and never ults, doesn't buy a Knight's Vow and leaves you to fend for yourself (leaving you in a 1v2 lane, underfed and over-harassed),
How do you carry that? What are you supposed to do about that? I survived that shit-storm in a 54-minute-long game, because I was the only one of a 5-man team that felt the urge to put some effort into it. But every minute that passed made my team all the more determined to want to lose.
Please, I just wanna know what it takes.
