Miss Fortune's Double Up Can Now Crit?

Krys Star··1 votes·4,560 views

It was noted in the PBE, but it's not noted in Patch Notes. Did they pull this out and changed their minds, or are they saving the buff for next patch? :|

Edit: For sake of clarity, I ask this because Double Up does 50% more damage. It has the display as if it crits, but it doesn't say if it DOES crit or not. If it DID crit, that would mean it'd benefit from Infinity Edge's passive, no?

Miss fortunes double up already crits.

Not really. It just does 50% more damage if it kills the first target. Soraka's Starcall shows a crit number if the center hits, same with Xerath and etc.

Double Up's second shot prioritizes enemies directly behind the primary target, especially enemy champions affected by Impure Shots. If the first target is killed, the second hit critically strikes Source: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Miss_Fortune

And the patch you are refering to from the pbe :

[ Q ]Double Up

Tooltip now states that if the first target dies, the bouncing hit will crit the second target for 150% damage Source: http://www.newsoflegends.com/index.php/pbe-round-up-patch-5-17-45694/#8

I think you misread some patch notes from the pbe.

Yeah, but there have been many various times when a 'tooltip now states' that reflects changes, too. Does this mean Double Up's Q already benefits from Infinity Edge live then, and they're just clearing it up? Or is this a new change to Double Up instead of simply doing 50% bonus damage?

Double up does not benefit from infinity edge on live (I believe)

No it doesnt. The "crit" is only when you kill a minion or enemy with your first hit of Q. Otherwise it won't crit.

Well yeah, that part is obvious. But it seems they CHANGED it into a crit, which makes it seem like it'd benefit from Infinity Edge's passive.

I was replying to the first guy. Who was clearly misinformed.
