I don't get it, why promos are hell to do and the most toxic thing in the game to deal with

Legit, once i hit my promos and 3 lose streak hit me. First one cause our support and adc were both autofilled plus our support was thinking it funny that he losing the game. Second game and woah a gold 5 duo with plat 4 ofcourse that gold5 going to be your jungler who want to force random unwanted plays then feed while your adc goes 1-9.

And finally the last game a smite talon mid that doesn't roam and fed the hell out of TF then keep farming jungle.

Legit 3 loses where i suppose somehow magically beat a damn 5 people by myself just cause it promos, thank you riot.

I learned prior that saying you're on promo's basically makes it a 99% chance of failure.

I had a duo and i told her I'm in promos, i will get trolled now by riot matchmaking and god 2 autofillled people in same lane like God

It does seem that promos tends to sway the MMR mismatch in the opponent's favor. Also, if you mention promos at all during the game, your team will feed. It's just a fact of life.

I didn't mention it and they played badly no matter what

iirc, and someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, it was explained, or theorized, idk, whatever, that your mmr was raised into the ELO you were promoing for, but not your teammates, so you match with people who are objectively worse than the enemy team, in order to prove you can play in the ELO you're shooting for.

Assuming it's true, that's shit matchmaking beyond belief.

It's true, i did hear the same thing from many sources and everyday i believe it more. Cause that dumb system cancel top and support role cause they not carry roles while forcing player to do triple effort to win game solo against 5 people while hoping his 4 teammates not trolls or inting or smart tilting kids

Putting it simply. This is BULL SHIT.

Especially when you're lower down on the totem. Getting crappy gold teammates vs crappy bronze is a completely different story. It's easier to climb when you're placed higher. Get some bad placement games? Enjoy the sludge of silver and bronze.

Doesn't matter, trust me i saw many high gold and low plat that doesn't ward or face check bush or just goes full inting with 1-10+ score for no reason.
