Tip: Objectives Are How You Win Games.

I find it hilarious that most of the games I lose are because people don't understand something so very simple: Objectives > Kills.

If you are behind and the enemy team is winning every 5v5 teamfight, you don't have to fight them. Just stall or split push, know when and where to rotate. Learn this and you can easily solo-push your way to victory. I have had games where I open up 2 lanes and take a nexus turret, but we lose because my team is off playing team deathmatch with the 14/0 Fiora and Vi. I have lost games because instead of taking the Nexus Turrets, my team is trying to kill the remainder of their team only to die to the Fountain and suddenly they Ace us and push to our Nexus.

#OBJECTIVES > KILLS

Its easy to remember, just think to yourself "will this kill get me closer to an objective or should I just go for the objective?" if the kill won't help you with the objective, don't chase them through the jungle for 2 minutes.

objectives and map vision wins games. everyone's weakness in low elo is getting ganked because they dont use their trinkets at the right times

Yea i wanted to put map awareness in my original post because its so damned important, but honestly if my teammates could just understand how to take an objective I would be happy. I have been playing really terrible because of how tilted i get now... its like everyone forgot there are these things called turrets and inhibs and that you need to take them...

Dude you can post this 1000x a day, send out a mass tweet and even go old school with a mailer to every leaguers home and they still just WONT GET IT! I would probably piss myself with glee if they simply removed gold from kills, that way people could focus on what's actually IMPORTANT about getting that kill like CS advantage, towers, drag, baron or even the damn nexus.

"Hey their entire team is dead, baron and elder are up and we haven't taken any towers."

"Fuck it let's run it down mid!"

Dude seriously, i am getting way too tilted! here i am at their inhib and my team runs in 1 at a time and dies... over and over again i tell them "DONT FIGHT" and yet every time they fucking go all in and die... Then I get 5v1'd because i am the only one actually trying to take an objective.

Then why do people only see KDA at end of game? Why is there a damage dealt to champion stat but no damage dealt to structures?

Because Riot's choice of stats to display at the end of the game is flawed. There NEEDS to be a stat for "damage dealt to structures/objectives" so I can be not flamed for being instagibbed in teamfights by their hec/olaf when I call for the team to push towers and take dragons/baron.

There is a 'turrets destroyed' stat. Perhaps it should be on the main score chart.

Damage dealt to structures would be kinda weird, since you don't always do direct dmg to structures to take them. Sometimes the minions do most of the dmg.

But if a minion gets the last hit, you don't get the stat saying you destroyed it. But with kills, even if minions do 99% of the damage, if you hit them once you still get the kill.

Friggin tired of people spamming "just group and win" when we have a shaco and Zed or whatnot.

Grouping isn't always the answer.

By spoonfeeding this to people, especially at lower elo, they carry the mentality that teamfights are the only way to win. It's ridiculous. Just because you group doesn't mean you're magically gonna win every teamfight.

^ lower elo people need to understand that this is not CoD, you don't need to go around eliminating their team. You can if that is the best option to get turrets, but your strategy should be what your team is best. Honestly I blame the Mastery system, it encourages people to inflate their KDA and CS so they can get better scores. You can't get an S by taking 5 turrets and 2 inhibs and the Nexus, I know because I do this all the time and never get a damn S...

I am actually in Bronze right now in Flex... sooo sad... havent been bronze for like 3 Seasons...
