I've been playing Lucian and I have questions

According to Champ.gg, Lucian builds Statik Shiv and not Cannon. - Why?

Also, it doesn't seem that he uses Black Cleaver anymore but Phage is such a benefit for a dashing, slowing champ - what gives? If not BC, then why not Triforce?

This is a general ADC question, but I feel like LDR is the better tank killer, but I got in a blowout with a guy about Mortal Reminder - can someone tell me what I'm missing. If I've got an Illaoi running rampant, why not build LDR?

Shiv gives excellent burst and waveclear, whereas cannon is better for poking occasionally. Lucian isn't a poke champ, but the burst from shiv can help him a lot in all-in situations.
Black Cleaver doesn't have great synergy with adcs anymore. Basically, I think the answer is that crit is so strong that Lucian should focus on crit items. Crit items are weaker when you build fewer of them, so I think it's more an issue of something being stronger than with BC being bad. Same argument against tri force.
Moral Reminder is better with champs that heal. Illaoi does heal a lot sometimes. I don't see a reason to be in a blowout about it, though; you'd have to crunch numbers and see which is better, but you're going to have to make assumptions either way. Basically, you should build Mortal Reminder if the enemy has a lot of healing. I'm not sure what I ultimately think about Illaoi, but I see the case for Mortal Reminder.
