Can Sona hit her power spike early in game please.

Maybe it's just me, but with most games "being decided" earlier and earlier Sona feels really REALLY slow to get up and running. Like i expect most champions have hit a power spike by level 6, Ultimate abilities being what they are for basically everyone. So why does Sona feel like she doesn't start really "getting good" till level 11+? I've had plenty of games where my team just stomps all over the opponents, so i end up with enough gold to buy 30% CDR (putting me to 35%) by level 6-7, even then i still feel very slow in spell slinging. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if Sona's abilities felt impactful as single use spells, but they never do.

sona is already an earlygame bully against some champs. She doesn't need an additional powerspike. Stop rushing tear and you'll have a much better earlygame

Have you seen how garbage her mana economy is in the mid to late game. Can't be asset to team if you're OOM after 1-2 mild engages.

As for her being a lane bully, against who? Engage champions? healers? enchanters? Who is Sona curb stomping in the early game?

like I said, don't RUSH tear

and even if she does have mana problems that's just something you'll have to overcome when you get there. Relying on tear is a common death sentence for many builds. Maybe instead of building mana you should just get enough damage that you wont need it.

Dunno, lets see how the pro's do it. My default browser can't see this page but I guarantee you that tear wont be terribly popular on her

You on the otherhand take the low risk road every single game.

I fail to see a reason to play a feast or famine build, when a safe one will do the job just as well 90% of the time.

Also, oh no a squishy character is taking mild damage from another squishy character every 15 seconds or so. Neither is setting up a kill, but that damage does eventual add up.... good thing Sona has those extra cookies and a heal to "come out ahead" over time.

I would say Sona is less a lane bully and more a constant low level threat that can't be ignored. champions like Zyra , Brand , and Alistar are lane bullies. Champions who can easily lock out large parts of lane simply by existing near them.

mild damage overtime? She's a component in instant burst lanes. One shot them or go home in shame. None of that poke bs. If you cant manage that for some reason then just be a healer and damage negator with W

i'm sure they do seem like bullies to someone that builds tear every match lol.

from what i experienced playing as/against a sona most of her power doesn't come from her ult but her passive ability

Her passives are very useful and can be used in a multitude of ways, but i would hardly argue that getting access to all 3 feels like a power spike.
