I am ready to get downvoted to death but here it goes.

The "assassin" meta never existed during season six

The only two good assassins were Zed and Ahri, and sometimes LeBlanc

Everything else was mages and utility

Even when zed was so called "OP" at worse was only 53 percent, and while that is pretty good, it was never something abnoxious like 55 or 56

The moment he was 53 he was correctly nerfed and knocked down to 50

The zed meta never happened

Stop acting like it did

Id probably prefer playing against Zed than getting deleted by a 3-4 item Shaco in 0.2 sec.. At least I can see Zed lol.

Zed is someone people love to farm votes with. Call him OP and half of boards wants to suck your dick. People hate his "Cool guys don't look at explosions" style, and are more infuriated by him 100-0ing you (If you have no armor, Zhonyas, QSS (past), or exhaust) than being 100-0'd by someone like Fizz, Talon, Veigar, or a few tanks.

Zed is banned because sheeple. He's not a real ban, don't waste your time banning him.

the issue with zed is his early game energy, this allows him to outfarm his mana using opponents and becuase he is soo dominant in lane they are forced to rush armor instead of mana pushing them further behind.

i feel if we just made zed so he isn't so lane dominant pre 6 while at the same time being nearly ungankable he wouldnt be an issue

its not like his ability do too much damage, its the fact that he just has such a dominant laning phase

if we just lowered his energy regen pre 6, i think he would be perfectly fine. either that or we need to slightly increase the Q energy cost at early levels so he cant spam it on cooldown.

zed has weakness mid and late game. the issue is he just so strong early game and he ALWAYS has a lead going into mid and late game with pretty much negates any weakness he would have becuase of the gold advantage his has

RIOT can't balance all the energy and resourceless champions - they are out of the meta or too strong with their non stop spam.

even when warwick/sejuani were gross 60%, they had max a 8% play rate each, zed had a 20%+, what that means is hes bound to be on both sides enough and played by both so many noobs and experienced players, the win rate creeps closer and closer to 50% regardless. but the fact that it remained 52.5% for so long was a clear indicator that it was broken.

s6 isn't any meta, its just live long enough to see 1 other carry on the enemy team die first, and then win a 5v4 ez pz. whatever creates that situation because wave clear is so weak and lacking to prevent sieging.

Fizz. Yes it did. Assassins were too op at one point. To be able to get in and out without much risk and almost guarantee a kill on a squishy target. That is busted.

Pretty sure people are beginning to realize banning Zed is just asking to get fucked by one of the actual ban worthy champs, his ban rate has already dropped by like 14% in diamond, just gotta give it time.
