Anyone curious about in depth Jhin's passive with items and when to build things?

Jhin has a clarity issue with attack speed/crit items vs damage items. So here is the actual stats across the board if anyone is interested.

item 3508 65 AD/8% increase to AD item 3031 65 AD/8% Increase to AD and 50% bonus damage to crits/4th shot of ultimate(yes if you were unaware, bonus crit damage scales into ultimate). item 3046 23.25% Increase to AD item 3085 22% Increase to AD item 3087 20.75% Increase to AD item 3094 19.50% Increase to AD item 3078 25 AD/11.75% Increase to AD (Note, this item is better than Static/RFC/hurricane until you're level 14+ with 4 flat ad items in terms of raw stats) item 3142 65 AD (while utilizing active, 10% increase to AD, meaning that this item is actually stronger than ER/IE while utilizing active) item 3006 7.5% Increase to AD

So when do you buy attack speed/crit over physical ad you might ask?

A lot of things can differ depending on level, whether you need mobility from passive, and if you want all crit. But for simplicity and in a general sense we will break down what is_ best in most cases_.

What is the general items for Jhin build?

  • item 3009 item 3508 item 3031 item 3094 item 3139 item 3036
  • In most builds you only want one Attack Speed item aside from item 3006 in certain scenarios.

Which boots do I get?

  • item 3009 In most cases.
  • If you are safe and they lack slows then you can freely get item 3006

Which item is best for Jhin to rush?

  • item 3031 The most damage you can get.
  • item 3508 The most useful if you really need to spam skills.
  • item 3094 The cheesiest shit I have ever done in my life if done right with 4th auto+RFC range. Less damage overall but if you can poke them down with that cheese then prepare for your all chat to be abused by the enemy bot lane. This shit will make non sustain lanes cry for days.

First back and not enough for bf sword but plan to go down IE route? item 1037 is more useful than item 1018 .

What do you get after item 3031 or item 3508 ?

  • You get the other one :)

When do I get Attack speed/crit items and which one do I want?

  • After item 3031 + item 3508.
  • In most cases you want item 3094 but it can change according to what you face.

Do I want to build a second attack speed item after the first one?

  • No, in most cases you want item 3139 as soon as possible even if the enemy doesn't have anything for you to QSS because it gives you 75 AD for your percentages to scale like a monster.
  • item 3142 can be an alternative choice if for some reason you really are safe and don't need life steal.

I'm getting rekt what do I buy for defensive items?

  • item 3053 This is one of the best items in this current meta for you to buy vs things like Talon/Zed along with a item 3139
  • item 3156 This is a useful item vs them nasty mages.
  • item 3046 Get this for your one attack speed item instead of item 3094 .

What about runes? Do I use Attack Speed at all?

  • In most cases Attack Damage runes are so much stronger early game that it's weak to take atk speed runes at all. Attack speed runes do out scale flat ad in the late game though.

I hope this helps anyone interested in learning Jhin or just wants to know some basics about his stuff. I'm not going to break down the stats on x items at x point in the game due to there being too many variables to change numbers but in most cases this is the best route.

No. We're not interested because he's extremely under-powered and a pro player, after dedicating over 40-60 hours to just Jhin could not break a 50% winrate, even though all of his other ADCs are well beyond that.

This post proves the general Jhin build was actually dumping 30 percent of his damage to waste. The community was too late to realise that 15ad or 6 percent crit means nothing.

You start with a pen focused assassin runepage then a yoomu or duskblade so you have the armor pen that will two shot enemies. Then at last you start building crit.

The apen is what greatly differences Jhin to other adcs. And this build literally makes his skills hit real hard. I rmember my Jhin just blasting a stacked cho in seconds with 4th shot and duskblade
