Twisted fate ult should zoom out like jhin ult

sigh this would just be an oversized mini map. If you simply cannot hold down the left click button on the minimap and press R again, or press the unlock camera button, scroll to where you want to ult, R, then lock the camera...well my friend, you have no business playing TF in the first place. Jhin ult only zooms out conically because his ult can be body blocked and having the vision is necessary. You can't body TF ult and you can't body block Xerath ult. There is no reason for the zoom on them.
