Just climbed out of Silver earlier this week, any tips on climbing gold?

Went from Bronze to Gold in roughly 100 games or so, and about half of those games were only Illaoi. I'm finding it to be a little more difficult to win with her as I climb higher, though. I'm not really sure what sorts of champions to play to carry myself up into Plat. (Which is my goal this year).

The type of stuff I've been losing to is big split pushers. Trundle/Tryndamere/Udyr, etc. I like to play mostly top lane and jungle, and I think I have my fundamentals of the game down. I really wanna keep playing Illaoi, but I just feel as though she isn't the type of champion that can be nearly effective now as she was in earlier ranks.
