Now, those are REAL JHIN BUFFS
Passive AD mult:: 2-40% >>> 4-44%
Q AD ratio:: 40/45/50/55/60% >>> 40/47.5/55/62.5/70%
W now roots off of ALL damage Jhin deals, not just basic attacks.

They had to do it.
They could've just added a bunch of digits after the hundreths place for laughs like they do with other champ passives... Why must they hurt us this way...
It’s three 4s I can’t do it mannnnnnnnn, make it stoppppp
Yeah shoulda been 4.4 - 44
These buffs are actually insane

I always wondered why I couldn't root after landing Q
I always wondered why I couldn't root after landing Q
Right? I mean it makes sense that you can plus it would flow so well with his kit, get a nice 4 bounce on your Q then snare someone.
I think they just initially tried being careful with it, though it did indeed made sense.
I wonder when will Lucian get his buffs.
I wonder when will Lucian get his buffs.
When he stops being cancerous mid lane.
Lucian in solo que isn’t cancerous in mid lane. Plus riot wants to open up bot lane to mages. Hopefully riot lets Lucian open up mid lane. 😈
He did open it up.
He spread those cheeks and dove right in.
If they let Lucian mid lane, I'm not playing mid anymore.
Good midlaners really dont lose to lucian
There are 4 kassadin mains in balance team
So if any of you wonders why Lucian got nerfed in mid now you know
Apart from Kassadin matchup Lucian mid is irelevant 40% winrate trollpick and back at its prime he was still like a 42% winrate trollpick in mid
Can we remove Jhin’s ability to root off of allied damage then?
He really doesn’t need buffs, and this is going to be incredibly frustrating if he can root you after slowing you for several seconds with his ult.
If by several seconds you mean .5 seconds on each shot that lands, and really only .5 if you mean that it would make it easier for him to land W.
Also he has a 46.82% win rate and does not have >50% win rate for any phase of the game (reaching a max of 47.55 in the pre-25 minute window). I'd say he does need buffs (or at least his competition needs nerfs).
No, I don’t mean the slow will help him land W, but do you think it’s fair to be hit with several slowing shots then ulted for Leona duration tier CC from a screen away, on top of the fact he can already trigger W from literally anybody else?
He got his buffs in the form of better scaling. This is an over buff with changing how W interacts.
Jhin is OPPRESSIVE when he’s good, and this is me saying it from someone who had Rank 7 Jhin on other accounts.
Edit: I should mention Jhin can root off his last shot if he positions well, however. Right now he’d rely on allies damaging them during Curtain Call
idk if you ever tried, its basically impossible for jhin to root after his ult.
The camera adjusts to a really dumb position, the time it takes between ult turning off and you can move, not to mention aiming and the delay of the ability itself.
If youre so desperate to root someone with w you need to use ult first, then give him the fucking root
Also, the only time jhin was oppressive was after the insane buffs. Right now supports are the problem

You say that Jhin doesn't need buffs, but he currently has a 47% winrate with a 4.2% playrate. He's not in a great spot right now. Also, how many times has a Jhin ulted you to not finish you off. If he hits you with his ult, but you escape, you're out of range of his snare. Unless you walk out of the cone and immediately start walking towards him again.
What about Riot nerfing the OP ADCs instead of giving them love taps and see where that leaves Jhin? Sick and tired of this endless buff cycle.
Wait wait you know that they are nerfing the top adcs 1 by 1 right? First Vayne, then Kog'Maw, ofc Ezreal was also nerfed, Trist was nerfed last patch and it's getting more nerfs on PBE.
How can you say that they are not nerfing the strong adcs?
Well the thing is that after you nerf the strong adcs new strong adcs will come out. So to the person you replied to nothing is happening.
I agree that after they nerf 1 strong adc other takes his place.
But saying "...and tired of this endless buff cycle" or pretending that Rito is not nerfing the strong adcs is categorically wrong and it's embracing the "Rito doesn't nerf adcs" circlejerk. That's why I replied.
when the rito gods favor the absolute shit out of you

Well, I mean, Jhin hasn't been in the best spot for a while now.
Unless you mean the ADC role in general, of course. ;v;
Politely, I can only see it as a negative if riot does not keep very close tabs on adc. Some 18 champions for that class and you realistically will see 2 in almost every game. other positions, top jungle mid sup, have much higher pools to pick from and thus it makes less of an impact if the range of viability is more varied.

No, I agree. I was just saying that Jhin in particular really hasn't been favoured all that much by anyone but the skin team.
ADCs, or maybe the hypercarries IN that class specifically, have been rito's favourite for a while now. And that's dumb.
Good, Jhin is (in my opinion) the most fair adc to play against in the game. Sure he still right clicks you for a ton of damage, but hes extremely immobile and has specific times where you can all in him and all he can do is stand still and sperg out (reloading). This is how ALL adcs should be modeled after, IMO.

These buffs in my opinion are absolutely nuts. Don't get me wrong I love them, but they're kinda crazy.
Good, I'm hoping hes strong. He takes a hell of a lot more skill to pull off than Vayne, Tristana, Twitch or most of the other meta hypercarrys right now.

Actually I'm wrong, they're not nuts. They're perfectly fine. I just checked on the PBE vs live, with the build I normally go it's like 10 extra AD to his passive and about 50 extra damage on his Q. The buff to his W honestly feels like it should have came on release. Just hoping he doesn't get too many buffs to the point where Riot puts him in the gutter. As for landing his W off ult, I don't think this will be possible, and even if it was, usually you'd use your W before ulting to stop them from moving for your team to catch up, then ult them. I can't see the point of using W after you've used everything else because by that point they should be dead. This may just be a PBE bug but his auto attacks feel faster despite having the same attack speed as before(or maybe I'm just not ever used to getting level 18 on Jhin), but I'm almost certain there's a bug rn on PBE that's making lethal tempo actually increase his attack speed for like a second. If you time it right you can get 2 auto attacks right after the other and it feels so amazing. Of course this doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough from my experience in practice tool.

Agreed. I would say his damage is too high (and I'd say that for all ADC and their itemisation), but Jhin, at least, has that period of vulnerability where he cannot do anything.
A Jhin wastes all his shots on the tank, then the enemy team commits? Prepared to be steam rolled by the enemy Vayne. Go in to assassinate when he's reloading? Deleted before he can burst you out. That's some meaningful and tangible counterplay you can work around, without turning a cannon, wrist crossbow and a sniper into a gattling burst gun.

I agree 100%. Jhin and Caitlyn are both, in my opinion, the most fair ADC's to play against and with. They both feel like they fulfill the Marksman fantasy in a balanced and enjoyable way with options for both the Jhin / Cait player and the opposition to play around.
Leave it at 44. Such a true beauty.

“Beauty is no excuse for so much suffering!”

but how is jhin a counter to ashe
Now that is a bunch of unnessecery changes. If riot got rid of crit and actually nerfed ADCs that are free wins like Tristana, varus jhin would come out as one of the strongest ADCs without needing any buffs. This buff will end up making him op once the other ADCs or crit items get reworked.
then riot would first need to nerf tanks too cause jhin makes least dps of all adcs kinda. Critremoval would still be tied with ana ddition to a new mechanik and standard adcs would still melt down better tanks as jhin. And both, critremoval and riot nerfing tanks i see in a far, far future. And at that point if jhin ever gets op again you can nerf him again. I can see the w mechanik working while other stuff gets nerfed on him.
The W root changes are honestly not that over the top. It always made sense that you could root after landing grenade bounces and for the sake of being conservative they didn't let him do it. If he gets too strong reverting the AD ratio changes is still an option, but the root changes are going to make him feel/play a lot better.
W rooted off E triggering as well.
Welp back to pick/ban status lol
Jhin nukes coming back once again, though it'll give me a reason to put him back into my pool
Well holy shit
Jhin is a well designed champion, that doesn't feel too oppressive when ahead and has a lot of counterplay (unlike some right clickers). But I remember when he was in every few games and it was repetitive seeing him so often so I really hope it doesn't turn out like that.
