Ekko nerf soon is injustice

I just read that they'll be giving Ekko 100 mana cost on his ult.

Explain to me why someone like Tryndamere gets a no costing/can't be cc'd to prevent ult to help him win just about any fight without having it touched.

Riven gets 3 dashes and an AoE knockup that all do damage on her Q as well as another dash on her E that gives her a shield for no cost.

Katarina has a no cost blink to X target with resets (in which any kill/assist resets it)

Zed has a "woops fucked up" button on his ult for no cost

Leblanc, while it does cost mana, has 4 in built blinks in her kit. 5 if you count flash since they always have it.

Ahri, while mana costing as well, has 3 dashes in her ult as well as flash if you count it making it 4.

Explain to me what on earth gives people the right to even dare say Ekko's ult is too big of a "I fucked up" skill.

The only arguments you can possibly have is about his heal or damage.

The damage damn sure shouldn't be a problem because there's no reason to be hit by the damage portion of it at all. You can counter argue saying that there's no reason it should be doing that much damage(which isn't a lot if you're not an adc/mage) I can argue there's no reason for Morgana should have a 3 second snare just because it's a skillshot. Same as nidalee wasn't allowed to have all that damage on her Q just because it was a skillshot. Yet somehow morgana is constantly defended about her stupid snare.

The heal portion I can level with you on but grevious wounds or flat out ccing him with a stun snare or silence etc. could easily prevent him from ulting. Even if that's not enough counterplay for you nerfing the heal would be the way to go not giving it a mana cost.

No, i'm not trying to defend ekko because idc if they nerf him into the ground. I don't play the guy much, what I do care about is the fact you can find an excuse to nerf anything in his kit but can't for other champs.
