Something needs to be done about Nasus

Balance should not be strictly relegated to whether or not the pros play a champion, because they play a completely different game. They have the utmost communication possible, and are so dedicated to the game that they literally do it for a living.

Nasus does not shine in that environment solely because they will always do what's necessary to lock him down or simply end the game before he's strong. Because they are a drilled 5-man team. But for 98% of of players (closer to 99.9 if normals were to be included), Nasus is a strong pick. He should not be rewarded for doing only the very basics of the game with little to no mind to his build or team. And come late game, if all you were doing is farming and building somewhat defensive, the enemy has no way to take you down since your team will be with you.

This is absolutely unacceptable for the overwhelming majority of the community.

One of these things needs to be put in place:

  • Cap his stacks or
  • Stay consistent with empowered autos, and remove his lifesteal from Q.

Alongside this, his Q should be given much higher base damage and a reasonable cooldown.

Honestly I think all they need to change is his w. Might as well give him a 100% slow for 5 seconds right

i do agree he needs to be adressed, however i really don't think either of your ideas wouldn be the proper way to address him. it was the changes they made to his ulti that broke him. i think they just need to tone those down.

Your changes would gut him. He is already at a 50% win rate, nerfs that large would absolutely gutter him.

What Nasus needs is for his counters to be strong again, so that his early game is properly weak and his mid/late game can remain useful.

He's literally not at a 50% winrate for anyone below diamond. As I said, a champion being weaker at the highest levels means jack shit if they're broken for 98% of players.

What he needs is to be gutted and actually given some early-mid strength so he can actually be picked at diamond without dominating the majority.

Diamond: 49% win rate. Plat+: 50% win rate. Gold+: 51% win rate. Silver and Bronze: 52% win rate.

Not exactly out of line numbers here. 52% is nowhere near broken.

It's closer to 53-54% all around. Not sure where you're getting your numbers. And that's not including the 2-3% increase for games lasting past 35 minutes, which are more common the lower you look.

What I'm suggesting is that he have strength given to early-mid so he can actually be a juggernaut, and strength taken away from late because there is no balanced reason as to why a champion should be able to scale infinitely an ability that heals them.

Before the two sites I linked came around op.gg was the most accurate, because lolking and stuff like that is always way out of date, but that time has passed.

If you want up to date accuracy now op.gg is not the best option anymore, though it's still not terrible.

They did do something about Nasus. They removed Atmas Impaler.

Then they added far worse, but hey.

Take the lifesteal out his kit. Remove healing from the game entirely while your at it. Stop rewarding bad players. You dont ever have to get hit by anything in this game
