This guy has no theme, and if Riot keeps his ult or pretty much any channeled variation of it he'll be as bad as always. Is he a sniper with his long ass Q range? a mage because of his versatility or a poison cc ranged sniper with a shield?
I really hope Riot sets a clear and straight forward theme with the character, removes the ult and makes him into something more clear and concise.

Well they said officially he'll be a bruiser. And even though they called the leak a fake, changing his ult to pull rather than swap would be a great change. And if he's melee (or otherwise close range) with a long ranged ability (like his cannon arm in the leaked 3D model a few weeks back has anything to do with it) he might work.
A clear cut character with bells & whistles rather than a mixed bag of confusion.
