I remember reading that if you use it in a lane it'll push the lane down. Well when I try using it at my tier 1 tower in a lane it wont stop following me.

Just push the damn lane and stop following me!

u need to be in combat cast the ult and attack some minions and it will push the lane

This. When I learned it did this I was able to splitpush and teamfight at the same time.

thats bs i have cast it in combat and then wanted her to push lane while i recalled, and the bitch came with me. She flat refuses to spilt push alone. All ive been able to get her to do is follow me around. Either its really buggy or im really missing something but ive tryed it every way i can think of

What I hate more is if you spawn it during a minion wave fight, and the maiden is far back enough it won't attack anymore minions and it just stands there until another wave pushes to her.

It's certainly going to make it easier for me to drop her in a lane and run to defend a tower on a different lane.
