In game quests could be so much more

Right now we have two in-game quests between champions.

We have The Hunt is On Rengar vs Khazix and the Battle for Freljord between Ashe Lissandra and Sejuani.

The first time I fought Rengar as Kha'Zix, I was amazed by this quest. There are so many rivalries in this game's lore I think it'd be amazing to see what stand offs could happen.

Quick note: Some, if not most of these names are pretty bad, but it's all I could come up with "Future of Tomorrow" Jayce vs Viktor "Right of Shurima" Azir vs Xerath "Blood Feud" Aatrox vs Tryndamere "Pirate's Bounty" Gangplank vs MissFortune "Ancient Rivalry" Garen or JarvanIV vs Darius or Swain or some other Demacia vs Noxus match up "Brothers to Death" Renekton vs Nasus "Hustler's Folly" Graves vs TwistedFate "Vengeance" Lucian vs Thresh (and before someone talks about that this is support vs adc remember assists count) "Eclipse of the Sun" Diana vs Leona "Honor Reclaimed" Yasuo vs Riven (this is because lore suggests Riven is the one who killed Yasuo's master) "Null and Void" Kassadin vs Malzahar "Shadow's Twilight" Shen vs Zed

That's all I could come up with at the moment. Just a thought at including more lore into gameplay, although I'm not sure what the rewards would be. Feel free to leave suggestions!

what about one with Kayle and Morgana , as a sibling rivalry and since all their lore says they hate each other. i'd love to see more of that. . .

There are very few opportunities for Soraka to kill WW, but I guess there are too many opportunities for her to get an assist, so that may work.

There's also one between Jinx and Caitlyn or Vi. That might be restricted to the Howling Abyss, though.

Also, there should definitely be something more between Zilean and Volibear. Like, when Zilean kills him, Voli respawns without armor. Or something.

They get a tally when ever Jinx kills them or Vice-verse. This applies on all maps where Jinx is verse one of them (I don't think it works if she's VS both).

If Riven had a quest, it should be with Singed , not Yasuo, nothing in the lore so much as implies she even knows or cares who he is, it's not a rivalry if to him it was the day his charge was slain and his life was ruined, and to her it was just Tuesday.

She also might not even be the one who did it, and I prefer to think she isn't.

I'd rather see these in game quests be more cosmetic based or have a champ say a line or two rather than giving a numerical advantage.

The numerical advantages throw off the game balance for all other players, especially k6 and rengar.

"Owner's Redemption" Galio vs Talon or Katarina (A noxian assassin killed his ward, we only have 2)

"Daddy's Favorite" Katarina vs Cassiopeia (There was a third sister nobody has ever delved upon...)

"Coliseum King" XinZhao vsPantheon vs Jax (All three have unparalleled dualing)

"Test on Me" Singed vs DrMundo (Both had to test chemicals on themselves)

Leblanc is also kinda old so while she more so has a assassin role in game she "might" have actually had something to do with the guy's death. Of course Galio's lore is kinda up in the air (less so free falling and more so why did he go "emo statue" mode) right now due to one of Sion's quotes pointing to rivalry between the two. So perhaps a Galio vs Sion quest.

Zilean and Voliball get an extra 10 gold when ever they get a kill/assist on the other.

Though this actually ties to community events, and not the in game lore.

More quest would be cool at first but eventually they would lose their special feel if too many champions had them. Then it would just be the thing that tells me I killed/damaged a certain champion at a certain point. I never really liked the rengar vs khazix thing because it was just handing the guy who was ahead more power to kill you with next time. Then the freljord battle is an almost unnoticable crown that is really out of place with the models. They could have at least put it on their heads.

Personally, I don't want them to do anything else that would give them more excuses not to develop lore.

Awesome idea, and could be implemented without messing with the game balance if Riot focused on cosmetic rewards for quest completion. I have to agree with other commenters that Rengar vs. Kha rewards are too steep to be applied in other situations.

Also, Riot could even turn this into a moneymaking opportunity by tying quests to skins. E.g. "Dance-Off" for prom queen annie vs. almost prom king amumu, or "1-up'd" for any matchup of champs with arcade skins on. This would of course require the reward be ONLY cosmetic, because no one wants any variation of skin-to-win.

Instead of quests, why not a full out story with objectives? OR you could make a mini game with two people playing kha'zix and rengar, and one has to kill the other while trying to make them self stronger(using these two as an easy example) Kha'zix could gain a stat boost any time he walks over a dead body(consuming the body) and rengar could gain a stat boost from gathering objects laying around(scavenging or creating new weaponry).

While this would make the game more fun,there are a lot of rivalries and aside from a ton of work that riot would never do,that many buffs could break the game a bit. Also i'd like to point out that rengar has nothing to lose in his current quest due to the necklace rework.
