its not going to make ardent strong again. but its going to cause the same adc meta bullshit that happened last time.

at the start of season 7, we had the 5 man gangbang bot meta, because of turret first blood, and ridiculous snoballing because of all the shitty global mechanics riot added.

games snowballed out of control just like they do now, and people started picking champions like ziggs bot lane just to cheese turret first blood, to snowball their team and end the game at 20 minutes.

the state of the game, and bot lane had shit to do with marksmen strength. yet riot overreacted and first started to buff individual marksmen, then their items, and when they finally dialed back snowballing, these fucks became unstoppable.

theyre repeating literally the same mistake.

i fully get it, and marksmen are FINE.

tristana is a lategame champion. there is no reason she should be able to powerspike early or midgame for how strong her lategame is.

marksmen power curves have been out of whack since the critical strike buffs in season 7, and theyre finally reasonable again. shitty early game, strong lategame.

the problem isnt with crit marksmen themsleves, but the overall snowbally state of the game. if you have a class of champions that is geared towards its first power spike around the 20 to 25 minute mark, and games only last 25 minutes on average, then of course they wont be relevant.

what we need is riot to reduce game snowball, not buff the fucking marksmen again. they should NEVER power spike as early as they did for the past year.

this tells me nothing how she played, the match duration or anything at all really.

i can pick an assassin and do nothing but farm sidelanes, maybe get lucky one game and get carried despite not contributing. post game stats would look exactly the same.
