@Riot Why did nautilus getting a NERF get described as "added baseline power" and "more durability"
Its confirmed, not a single person @riot balance plays this champ, and i dont blame any of you.
I play the guy non stop, and as ive said for months, hes not tanky enough for his identity, especially compared to the field of tanks, then you go and smash his only tank option??? Which is already where he performed so poorly?
Hell, at every single point in the game he loses beef, for the gain of cdr on his w, which is going to be cast twice almost never outside of jg clear.
**This doesnt make him tankier at all, and does nothing for his lane phase, his pick potential, or his late-game team fight. It barely even changes his clearspeed as duration/shield value was also cut. **
Real junglers dominate nautilus early, and mop him later. He cant clear, hes massively slow, **he cant duel any viable junglers **, he cant out tank the viable tanks, , his map presence is very limited. If the enemy jungler knows nautilus whatsoever, youve lost as you will be abused as early as your second buff. This does nothing to lift any of those burdens naut has in the jungle, and absolutely nothing elsewhere.
- TLDR: Jungle Naut got a very minor buff to clearspeed, while support top and jg naut all got a huge hit to durability. He still wont be viable jg, and will be less viable elsewhere.
So i ask, what was the actual point of this change, what does naut have to gain? In what instance is he more durable? When does he have more baseline power? When using w twice? If so thats a pipe dream.....
Im trying to be as un-biased as possible here, but im just not seeing it. I truly believe people think this champ is bigger than he is and hes suffering from it severely. Nautilus never fulfills the tank dream, and this does nothing but push him further from it.
