Best Akali runes?

Prof. Akali has mastered Akali. He doesn't need the sustain of Fleet Footwork as much because he can get by on raw mechanics alone. He's also a YouTuber. Slow, attrition-based gameplay isn't exciting to watch.

Take Electrocute when you're confident you can stay healthy enough to all-in enemies and/or when the enemies are all squishy. Fleet is better when you know you can't kill your lane opponent in one go and you need to heal up between trades.

But honestly, Akali is one of those champions where 90% of your performance is based on skill. Runes help, but they aren't going to make much of a difference if you don't have the mechanics and game sense to back it up. Play what feels best to you. Until you get to Plat+, it's not that big of a deal.

Fleet's optimal into poke matchups or if you just want extra sustain.

Conqueror into tanks.

Electrocute if you feel like you need extra damage, but usually I prefer fleet.
