@Riot, What IS dynamic Que

what is dynamic que? what is solo que?

it would seem to be an easy enough question to answer solo que is what we had in season 3-5 (and im assuming 1 and 2 as well but i started season 3) dynamic que is what we have now in season 6.

yet when i SAY that i "hate dynamic que" and "i want solo que back"

I'm NOT saying i want to do back to the way it was in season 3-5, not exactly.

because the fact is the thing i currently hate about the current system is the fact that we now have premades being grouped solo players. now i was fine with duo que but i hate the fact that premades of 3,4 and 5 can be put in team vs a group of solo players. and regardless of any "balacing" done by riot. doing this totally destroys the meaning of "ranked" because if you allow this your "rank" means NOTHING

however i absolutely LOVE the new system of picking roles, with primary and secondary, granted there is STILL the huge issue with putting support as secondary give you support every time, and riot is completely ignoring this, which of course makes the problem even worse by forcing player who WANT to secondary support take it off as a role and making the only people the the game to choose support form the support mains. but that problem can be easily fixed if riot ever decides to do so.

so is dynamic que the new system of putting premades and solo players in the same que in ranked and destroying the ranked system and the entire POINT of ranked. in which case dynamic que is horrible

or is dynamic que the game letting up choose our primary and secondary roles, thereby avoiding the "mid or feed" and "pick order" bullshit i had in seaosn 3-5

in which case dynamic que is awesome, and only the fixable issue with the "support" and "fill" roles only giving support.

or is dynamic que both combined?

either way, i really think we need to be clear on WHAT we don't like.

becuase when i say "i HATE dynamic que"

i am saying i hate being mached with premades when i play alone

but is that what other people are saying when they say "i hate dynamic que" what if the person next to me says "he hates dynamic que" and yet what he hates is the new "primary and secondary role" system and he LOVES the the new system that allows he to play with more than 1 friend. in ranked and not have to make a full team of 5.

we could both be saying "we hate dynamic que" when we have the EXACT opposite opinion"

and the next person might hate BOTH the new "primary and secondary roles" and the 3-5 player premades.

So @Riot, what you say "dynamic que is here to say", and "we are not bringing back solo que"

WHAT do you mean?

HOW do YOU define, "Dynamic que" and "solo que"??

Solo Queue was the previous ranked queuing system. It allowed for groups of 1-2 players to queue together.

Dynamic Queue is the current ranked queuing system. It allows for groups of 1-5 players to queue together.

There's a few extra details here and there, but for the most part this covers what each one is.

that is what i always assumed to be the case, but by the way riot responded in their "round table discussion" and specifically seeing upvoted posts on the forums saying "solo que was flawed becuase whole "mid or feed" issue"

i thought.. but THAT isn't solo que is it? i mean that was a flaw in the que system that isn't here anymore, but that isn't what i refer to as "solo que"

so it made me think.. what does riot exactly mean when they say "solo que" and dynamic que"

if solo que is what your say (which i agree with, as that is also how i define solo que)

then WHAT do we call the "primary and secondary role select"? what is the name for that?

Riot has intentionally conflated the new champ select with dynamic queue to muddle the issue and confuse a large portion of the player base.

Dynamic queue is the result of combining Solo Queue (Queue 1 or 2 people max) and Team Queue (Organized teams/Ranked 5v5).

i think the bigger queation is not what people are saying when they say "i hate dynamic que", but what they mean then they say 'i like dynamic que'. In nearly every pro dynamic que threat i've seen, the main argument was that it solves the 'mid or feed' issue. However, that is new champ select, which also has been implemented for normal draft and could have easily been implemented for the old solo/duo-que.

Dynamic que is that now any number of players can que up in ranked together and also that soloplayers potentially can get matched vs premades compared to the previous seperated solo/duo and 5man premade ques which didn't alow teams of 3 or 4 at all.

So what imo most people like then they say they like dynamic que is the new champ select(which is why they most likely say they like it in riots surveys) rather than the actuall dynamic que.
