Why is it that in every game i'v played for the past...i don't know month? When my jungler get's their champion banned, they for some reason default to "Master Yi". Like fuck whatever the team needs, fuck how much CC is on the enemy team, let's pick Master Yi. Yeah, that's a great idea against Warwick, Lee Sin, Gragas, Elise ect. All these early game jungler's and you sitting here picking Yi against them! Why would you default to Master Yi when the enemy jungler is early game? Like i don't understand, your literally sacrificing jungle pressure for the rest of your team when you do that. Like it get's so bad, that to a point when you see a Master Yi on the enemy team, your jungler and every laner knows they can basically do whatever the fuck they want.

Like, i literally ban yi, just to not have one on my own team. I won't ban him if he's flashed because i have morals but for fucks sake don't pick him if the team needs a tank, or cc or just anyone who's actually useful for anything other than damage.

Note: This isn't a jab at jungler's in general but i think you guys can explain to me the thought process of picking Master Yi when the enemy team is chock full of counter's to him.

Well depends what ELO u are talking about. Yi works extremely well in low elo because people dont know how to chain CC properly and in low ELO its extremely risky to play tank because your teammated wont know how to play around you. Yi is always suggested pick for low ELO players that wanna climb because of his ability to carry games.

I've seen master yi ganks as soon as lvl 2 being quite successfull. Even if they don't get a kill, if they take 40% off the enemy laner that's a huge advantage for your laner, he can now deny cs and have kill pressure. These things change the game.

A few games ago I was playing Taric toplane, and this Yi I had ganked the enemy olaf once before 6, and once towerdiving him at 6 with my ult. We then got herald and pushed top down top inhibitor at 12 minutes. 5 minutes later we took down all towers and inhibitors bot and mid and ended the game. That was devastating

Yi can be a strong pick when 3 members of the enemy team does not know how to deal with him. When we're talking about solo/dual queue for ranked, or just what ever in Norms, where in battle communication is limited, Yi will more than likely bend them all over and shaft them good.

The other reason is Yi is incredibly simple and brain dead. Jungle is rough in the sense that having multiple characters is harder than laning. Simply because it takes a good deal of thought, and knowing what your character can do and can not do. One death is a massive set back in the jungle. Where one death in lane is a step backwards. I remember getting two levels ahead of an enemy jungler for counter ganking and killing him once. Once he was dead, I just immediately invaded his jungle, stole his farm, and left. After that, he had a really hard time doing anything if he could not get a successful gank (plus the last hit on the kill), or play scavenger when one of his team mates leaves lane. You don't get a lot of gold or xp in the jungle... which is why I find the whole "YOU ALWAYS NEED TO GANK" crap annoying.

That's also why you see Junglers AFK farm during the roaming phase a lot. They need to close the massive gold gap between himself and his team. It's also not unusual to see a Jungler buy a gold item. Like an ancient coin. Because it does help them close the gap.

Chances are, the laners are playing equal part in forfeiting the early game. The same thing goes for champions with Globals such as Shen .. You can't really be ganking bot when he has Ult because its an easy opportunity for him to turn it around..

I think its most so in your head at this point. Instead look at the game as a whole. The game isn't decided from laning phase unless you let it.
