For thanksgiving I'd like to give thanks for the following:

Thank you for only nerfing 4 bruiser items in the pre-season. I'm sure you thought of nerfing Warmogs even harder, of increasing the price of hexdrinker even more, and reducing the sustain of BV/SV even harder but you didn't. You didn't even nerf Omen this time, and for that I am thankful.

Thank you for not giving Sion 3 health per minion so he could top lane. If you did that I might be happy and that's not very Catholic.

Thank you for at least thinking of buffing Jax on the PBE. Even though the nerfs won't even come close to making him competitive again since he's as squishy as Zed/Fizz without the whole being able to 1shot people nor go invulnerable but at least he's on your mind.

Thank you for not nerfing bruisers in the second pre-season patch. It seems your rage has subsided for now merely on nerfing their items.

Thank you for only powercreeping damage by 8% this season. I know you wanted more, I know the thought of people living longer than 3 auto attacks sends you in to a blind rage that makes you nerf Omen again, but I am thankful that the previously mentioned item nerfs have quelled your thirst for the blood of melee.

I am thankful they booted Mundo out of the game by destroying all of his itemization, and making the jungle oppressively hard.

I am thankful the majority of the junglers from last year have no hope of jungling.

I am thankful they are releasing champions more often so that they will "totally be balanced" and not "mobo-creeped" to hell.

I am thankful that Riot made ranged adc champions even stronger than last season, so they can dual assassins.

I am thankful that Riot gave Sion trash tier base stats so he can spend the game getting 300 cs to equal his health from pre-rework.

I am thankful you can now make minions nearly unstoppable with baron buff, and banner of command.

I am thankful none of your "recent" bruisers are viable.

Yeah...

In other news trundle gets a very small buff to top lane sustain due to the increased health of minions.... but he gets harassed out in 3 levels anyway.

After playing a bunch of Sion top, it's not his health pool holding him back. It's both his ult and passive being nearly useless. The best use I've found for his ult is having a 36 second cd escape, and his passive lets you get some free tower damage in if you deny yourself to it, but that's about it.

You can't deny yourself lol. The last champ dealing damage in 8 sec will get the kill, and who wouldn't attack you if they saw you were being stupid and attacking turret.

People regularly deny themselves on turrets to avoid ganks they can't escape. It's not something you should be going out of your way to do, and I never said it was.

you can't really "deny yourself to deal dmg to a turret". either you run deep into their jung and suicide at a inhib turret or you die being ganked either to the enemy team or to the turret (and they get the kill)

You can make it to an inner turret from an inhibitor turret in the duration of his passive.
