Arn't these dragon and rift changes going to make the game even more insanely snowbally?

If you can't contest dragon and rift there is no way you can win now, because those buffs are so huge. Arn't teamfight comps just going to dominate everything? How are any team comps besides strong AOE teamfight team comps going to be viable?

Lategame junglers are going to be useless.

The opposite. Now you don't just continuously snowball off of one dragon into the next one since they are randomized. Some comps will want some drags while some will not care for others.

That's a good point, I suppose I just need to see it in action.

What about rift though?

Doom’s Eve removed and replaced with a unique Superbuff:

Lasts 20 minutes and persists through death

While alone, you gain some damage reduced vs. champions and build Corruption stacks

At 100 stacks, your next attack discharges all Corruption to deal bonus magic damage (works on almost anything, including minions and towers; damage is reduced for ranged attacks)

Corruption stack rate and discharge damage scale with champion level

Basically you become a split pushing monster for 20 minutes.

So people will have to care bout it now and Riot can deliver on their promise of giving something contestable top lane to pressure with?

Seems fine to me.

Now that i think about it, this change along with Dragon is exactly what they needed to do to fix the issue. The Rift herald in most cases was treated like a consolation Dragon because it was such an afterthought in the grand scheme of things, since Dragon stacking is so important.

Now that it isn't, this brings every Dragon down to somewhere where picking between the two is actually a decision worth making, while still giving drag that feeling of stacking and scaling as you get them.

Another good point, fair enough.

Rift is too hard to kill for a team that is only a small bit ahead to sneak without the enemy team having any chance of responding and the buff doesn't instantly provide a huge power spike to anyone, it's a mediocre but long-lasting spike for one member of a team. It's not something that's gonna snowball a game.

I like the dragon changes. It's actually have some value and worth taking. Not to mention it benefits jungler and support as well and not just top/mid/adc mostly.

The one thing I hate about it is the spawn is RNG.

I think the changes will make the game more snowbally.

Obviously people don't agree because the dragons look super cool which is true, but look past it, and see how these changes effect the game.
