Anyone noticed that all the champs released in the last few years are...

... for babies?

What I mean is. These champions are far more forgiving, overloaded with pages of multiple passives, ability interactions, tacked on special effects that they don't need and it has just ruined the game. Remember when passives were one line? Not anymore, now its multiple passives - Yasuo or a whole page's worth of text - Kled.

It also seems that each champion design is becoming more and more forgiving, sure they are more complicated but these champions have less and less weaknesses these days that are inherently obvious (like Velkoz's weakness of "jump on him"?).

Are we breeding a toxic playerbase that have a growing sense of over-entitlement because of how forgiving, powerful or mobile champions have become? Meaning lack of meaningful choices in the game?

the worst is just that every new champion has to be a assassin-bruiser-carry-mage with everythingin their kit

It's less prevalent in lol than in hots... but there's aspects of what you say. In hots... look no further than tracer comps, genji or maive doing the same burst as a jaina but having very little counterplay and none of the difficulties jaina faces vs a lineup where everything either has mobility or immunity to damage so that her combo's mean nothing. And then add in her high mana costs compared to them... forcing you into q build because none of the others are very viable vs mobile enemies and her opponents like genji or tracer or maive not having the same mana issues... allowing them to match or exceed a burst champ's damage with their own burst or dps without facing danger or running out of mana to repeat said combos multiple times.

Yeah, there's getting to be less tradeoff for the extra safety of increased mobility or temporary immunity/shields to damage. The examples you picked.... some aren't the best out there, but your overall point I do agree with. Take for example ezreal vs kai'sa. Both have huge mobility. But ezreal pays more for his safety via lower damage while kai'sa has some of the highest damage in the game. And sure... she's not quite as safe as ezreal, but it's hardly what I'd call a balanced amount of tradeoff.
