Press the Attack

Basic attacks against enemy champions grant 1-8 AD or 1.25-10 AP (adaptive, scales with level) for 6 seconds, stacking up to 8 times. Melee basic attacks grant two stacks.

At 8 stacks, gain Fervor of Battle for 6 seconds, increasing your damage to enemy champions by 8% for the duration, reduced to 5% on ranged champions. Stacks reset once Fervor of Battle ends.

Numbers may vary, but is this a reasonable compromise in regards to PtA and Fervor of Battle?

While I'm at it, here are some other thoughts of mine on the Precision tree.

Overheal -> Will to Fight

Increases your self-healing by 4% while at 60% Health or less. This bonus gradually increases at lower Health, up to a maximum of +12% while your Health is at 30% or less.

The self-healing bonus is reduced to 3-8% on ranged champions.

/-/-/

Triumph

Upon scoring a takedown or leveling up, restores 12% of your Missing Health over 3 seconds, reduced to 8% for ranged champions.

/-/-/

**Coup de Grace **

Deal 8% more damage (6% if ranged) to enemy champions who are at 40% Health or less.

/-/-/

Cut Down

Deal 6% more damage (4% if ranged) to enemy champions whose Maximum Health is at least 25% higher than your own, increasing to 12% (8% if ranged) if their Maximum Health is at least 50% higher.

/-/-/

Last Stand

Increases your damage dealt to enemy champions by 6% while you're at 60% Health or less. The damage bonus increases as your Health decreases, up to 12% when your Health is at 30% or less.

I like that the buff is increased damage from the champ using it, and not increased damage taken by the victim. The way it is now just emphasizes the "everything bursts everything else" thing that is going on. Like no reason after I get auto 3 times by adc at level 3, that janna can just nuke me for 50% of my hp.

I don't know why someone thought that giving all auto-attackers the option to opt into a single-target mini Vladimir ultimate on basically no cooldown was a productive idea.

I figured party-wide damage amp was restricted to just Vlad's ultimate for a reason.

Think about this in light of all the complaints around crit building ADC's right now too. That guy isn't just a tank buster, but he helps his team bust tanks too.

This is a healthy way you can say "Hey we are gonna take some damage off your shyv procs and maybe shave down that crit damage a touch, but you are going to have damage increased with PTA if you go that route"

So it solidifies scaling ADC as the tank busters. Like you want to go Fleet Footwork for safety? Ok, but it's gonna take longer for you to become tank shredder. Right now my view on Runes Reforged and champion balance in general is there is a bit too much have your cake and eat it too, this takes that away without nerfing anything into non-existence or completely changing the game.

Well said.

Also, I added some thoughts of mine on other Precision runes to the OP while I'm on that topic anyway.

Someone mentioned to me in another thread that current PtA applying a team-wide damage amp to the target helps an offensive champion who falls behind by letting them provide utility when their damage isn't cutting it.

Which would be fine if the game wasn't so heavily damage-oriented already now.

That and, really, why is there utility in the DPS tree to begin with, when we have a utility tree (Inspiration)?
