Seriously, been matched with platinum border players all day, after having climbed all the way from bronze 3 to gold one this season, one would expect: Wow, platinum badge, these people will know how to play, every game it's the same fucking shit, I stomp my lane, yet my team feeds like there is no tomorrow, all I can say is, you plat players think you're hot shit? Well news flash, you're not. Honestly, what is this shit. I've played with bronzers that were better than you.

Derp, but muh platinum badge... Whatever. As far as I'm concerned, plat = wood.

Mechanics get better over elo but everyone is retarded when it comes to macro play. Don't expect any different in solo queue no matter what rank you are or were.

I hit diamond, I'm still not out of it. I got my adc 5/0 in first 10 minutes of game and he still feeds mid-game and we lose. Just gotta keep grinding and maybe pick up a duo.

diamond macro is significantly better than plat and below. like, it's extremely noticeable.

I disagree. It improves over rank slowly, but there is no -this rank and above is good at macro- milestone. As you get to higher diamond you start seeing it get much better but low diamond is still too similar to plat to differentiate. Everyone always thinks the next rank they get is going to be the end of their struggles. It's never that simple.

You aren't exactly leaving much context. Your account doesn't seem to have any matches played recently so you are either posting on a forum smurf (implying you are either trying to hide your match-history or were banned from the forums on your main account) or you are lying about the matches.

Anyways, is this a normal game? If so, then they may be practicing their off-roles, learning different champions, trolling around with friends, or paying less attention than normal.

There is a significant difference between a player trying to have fun and one try-harding to win, so the difference is smaller if you are trying your hardest and they aren't.

Finally, consistency is one of the main difference between roles. While players have bad games and occasionally suffer for their mistakes, players in the higher-tiers perform better than those in the lower-tiers relatively consistently.
