Why ever play Wukong, when Jarvan exists ?

Both have the same armor pen on Q, only j4 is aoe and ranged. Same attack speed on E, only j4 gives it to allies and can actually combo EQ to cross through walls or escape ganks and it knocks up. Same utility spell on W, only j4 is actually a useful big shield and a slow. J4 also has a useful passive for lane. Their ults are similar, both aoe, only j4's creates an unpassable terrain. J4 can actually build tanky and still be useful, whereas wukong just becomes a 2 min knock up bot.

I always try to bring my boy monkey top since s4, but I just can't. J4 is a better version of him and darius/renekton/fiora/riven/galio/gragas/camille/nasus/maokai/etc... just shit on wukong so hard. My fav champ and I can't play him anymore. He also didn't have a single change since season 4. I just hope when or if the fucking changes come, it will be for the better of wuKING.

go play wukong vs darius on top and then tell me how did it go... please. build lethality vs. darius and tell me how did you lane. and if he one shots your carry AND escapes, you're actually bad. I played support vs. a 20 kills wukong and he couldn't touch my adc. after redemption locket and my soraka ult, my adc was full hp and wukong was dead. but you're bronze 5 so it doesn't matter lol.

Soraka is a different case of bullshit, and if you think Wukong is actually bad you are just straight up bad. Like any assassin can kill through Soraka blowing all her actives/heals/ultimate/ardent censer.

Wukong is a beginner champ like annie or master Yi and OP asf in solo queue so please cry more

wukong is good in low elo, like in your case bronze where nobody knows what the fuck theyre doing. in diamond if you see wukong, just pick any tank and you will be 10 times more useful than wukong, I have 2-3k wukong games, I think I know what I'm talking about.

Darius is easy to play against... Just run Fervor and duel him. Make sure to stay in his face so you hardly take damage from Q. He loses to sooooo many champs if u just run Fervor and don't be a panzy when he charges you.

Maybe if you're against a shit Darius who will Q at point blank range instead of auto'ing, and doesn't know how to aa reset with W.

If he knows enough to cancel your E with his, then you're hella fucked

I'm sorry but you need to attempt playing the matchup. Darius absolutely smashes Wu in a 1v1. How you lane against Darius as Wu is play like a complete bitch and pray for your jungler to come. Or hope Darius royally fucks up and tanks some tower shots or ults your clone or something. Its not even close. Running Fervor is pretty moot considering 9 times out of 10 he's going to be running fervor too. Plus siting there and letting him stack his passive on top of fervor is a pretty terrible idea considering Wu has absolutely zero sustain and crippling mana costs

Xin and Aatrox are having Gameplay Updates this year, and Wukong is part of the same class.

The one and only response is : cause u are an otp Wukong. Unless u "otp" him, there no reason to play him. Even higher Wus seems to abandon him (Ninja Wukong, akabane...) when near of M1

Wukong is less "all-in" than J4. J4 is either winning, or he's feeding. Because he is all-in.

Wukong also brings more reliability. J4's combo isn't the easiest or most reliable thing to land, but Wukongs is.

Wukong has more damage in his kit, compare his Q+E which is like 190% AD while J4's Q is only 160%, and Wu's R does way more damage after 2 seconds or so.

You can also trade in lane without wasting your escape, your damage is all targeted, and you can invisible.

I've learned that you won't get a serious answer on the forums. You better just think about it. I've played wukong and J4 and must say that J4 is good if you want to lock in a group of enemies, where wukong has an amazing knockup.

Consider both of their strengths and weaknesses

J4 has a good engage and disengage. Wukong has an amazing engage and an amazing disengage if you use his w. If you build jarvan bruiser you can get a good amount of AOE damage and wukong you can get better cc.
