Every year the same thing -.- I like to play this game but only ranked. I like the competition. Playing Normals don't give me this satisfaction. That's why it's like someone's taking the game away from me for two+ months. And always in the best time for playing games. When it's cold outside, when it's Christmas time and you have some free time from work/school. Man this bothers me.

Maybe we could shorten the pre-season time to one month?

You can still play in preseason, your mmr will change just as it would over the season. Starting off the season with a good mmr is the best thing that can happen to you.

Your shown Rank only has worth at the end of the season(/split now) anyway.

Lol... As if they wouldn't use the season to test their game anyway. The whole season 8 was pre-season.

I don't care if the first two months of ranked is betatesting.

They are changing a buttload of stufd, the ranked ladder, the runes, and a more basic champion changes. Thinga are gonna break/be over/undertuned for a bit.

Ita much better this way...unleas u want a whole nother half season akon to dynamic queue...kek

They still have to get more public testing with the new stuff. Being someone who is a testing department, you aren’t able to find ALL the ins and outs of a new product with just your team and need the public to catch things. It’s that way in most tech companies.

With that being said you can still queue for rank and have people play more serious matches. Yes you’ll get people who will throw but it’s not going to be a giant increased number.
