Is she supposed to be an AP assassin? Is she a bruiser now? Hybrid? I feel like at this point it's kinda just "Fuck it build whatever."

Maximum Zilean4 votesSadly at this point, the best way to play Eve is simply not to. She is way to over nerfed and is aproaching her season 2 self AGAIN... I don't think its possible for her to be worse then she was back then though.
But she is pretty close...
Vermonster2 votesAP she has no finisher (ult sucks now and DFG isn't even in the game). AD still no finisher and now shes reliant on getting right next to people but shes squishy, build her tanky and she does no damage and her ganks have 0 threat as she also lacks cc. AD youre visible way before you are in range, ap you can cast early but you dont have burst and q sustain does practically no damage unless they are sooo low on health and oom they actually have to run.
Due to over nerfs, nerfs, more nerfs and the removal of DFG she is no longer viable with any build. Go hybrid and pray your opponent are horrible and over extend with no flash till riot gives Eve SOMETHING she can run with.

If her kit FORCES her to go almost full tank, then no matter how you look at it, she is not an assassin. My comment was more against Riots policy "to fill every champion class with weird champions, just so it wouldn't feel empty"

Sire Hippington1 voteswell, eve isn't realy anymore, but nida surely is. use mobillity to flank enemies, go in opportunistical to 100-0 an important target, 100% an assasin. She just happens to add poke and heal aswell, which kinda breaks her kit, but she definitly fits the bill as assasin.

that being said I would generally build or into: some would favor for the extra sustain in the jungle, cheaper build path, and extra sticking power
Other nice item is as the slow procs with your E now. Oh and CDR is always nice right? =]

I build a lot of thing, and have seen yet more builds that consistently win in the hands of better players at high elo.

After this I go tanky items so I can stay in teamfights. I have never understood why you would build warrior over magus as the ap and cdr is so much better for your q.
With I find I am not sticky enough even though it has the highest potential single target dps, With you get the highest potential burst but I find the buildpath very punishing and her single target burst leaves a but to be desired, gives most of what you want, has an easy buildpath but the continued damage after the active burst is the worst of them if you cannot consistently aa, gives the highest burst, most sustain, equal with botrk in build path (but more expensive) but better (much better) continued damage if you cannot aa a lot while your e is active.
Yes I was suprised too that gunblade is even viable.
