Yasuo has been the most banned champion for months now.

Balance team is trolling us. Those random Lee Sin buffs right before worlds are also funny.
Not even trolling, straight up buffs to see da b1gz pi@yz
what plays ? that a jumpy turd jumping around without any real counter to him? is that fun for anybody with an iq over 80?
I mean, hasn't he almost taken the title of most banned champ in general from Old Kass?
Kassadin hit the record levels of 95-99% banrate.
Iirc it was just 99% for almost an entire year.
Didn't Yasuo had over 100% once?

Zac hit 156% or something, that's a rough chance of 78% on both teams.

zac reached over 100% ban rate after rework.. beat that
you cant too many yasuo fanboys who want to play him in ranked
Low elo does not want to deal with him. It is not a matter of him being OP or UP it is a matter of him being a toxic infuriating to play against champ.
Still going to probably make it even worse for Yasuo mains as he's going to be banned even more.

Lmao, he has a 60%+ ban rate in diamond. Low elo my ass. The rest of your post I agree with.
His Windwall, that's what drives me mad.
A good timed, non-panicky wind wall can totally change a TF
It's because, believe it or not, he's not all that good. He's about 50% winrate in bronze, but the number gets lower the higher the elo.
One you know how his bullshit works, it's really easy to ruin his laning phase, and as long as he doesn't get a lead, he's not going to be useful.
Think about how shitty a bronze yasuo is and consider that 50% from that seems extremely fucked up. It might get lower, but nothing is stopping these chimps from climbing with the god-forsaken kit and ruining things.
One of the things you've failed to consider is the concept of punishing champs.
These are champs that are designed to capitalize on bad player mistakes.
Yasuo is one of them. So is Teemo. So is Darius. So is Caitlyn. So is Talon. So is blitzcrank. So is heimerdinger
If you play badly or slip up against these guys, they will very easily punish you for it.
Now think about how many bronze players aren't aware of this and walk into the cupcakes all laning phase and get shot out of lane.
I don't think Baron Barian was arguing about the difficulty of playing yasuo. AFAIK his skill floor, mechanics-wise is actually pretty low (his kit is actually pretty easy to understand) and the real distinction between a good and bad yasuo player is knowing when to go in.
But the point of my comment, is to explain why this champ works well in bronze. How many times have you seen someone give first blood to yas, come back to lane, and then immediately die again trying to play high aggro to comeback (completely ignoring things like minion advantage or level difference)?
Oh and by the way, one thing you've probably heard about pro players a lot, that connects this all together: "pro play isn't about making the best play, it's about making the least mistakes".
Actually I understand perfectly, you're just naive in that part because Yasuo can go 0-5, build 2 items and become a threat so how is this a mistake again?
exactly , all he needs is a lucky stun and game won
Darius was played in LCS to the point of gettings skins if i recall.
SKT banned Blitz repetedly because they had no answer to him.
Heimer is being played in pro play a lot of riots happy news mongering is any accurate.
Yasou is basically unbeatable 1v1 unless he fks up horribly when you are playing a ranged champ.,
And on that note, the reason Yasou is so infuriating is just because all the initiative lies with him, his actions are what make or break the laning phase for him.
Plays too much aggro and dies 1v1? Yasou fked by getting greedy.
Gets baited and ganked to death? yasou fked up.
Yasou won lane by having wards to avoid the jungler and playing well? Nothing you as a ranged could really have done to stop him, his windwall counters anything big you might try and his shield denies important poke along with his mobility.
And unlike Irelia he also wins a number of his melee matchups easily when played well too <.<
but im the stupid when i write blitz has no counter play :P ah my stupid teammates
Well he does have some, but its rather specific.
Morg blackshield, Sivir spellshield, Ezreal E, and maybe cait could be considered one as well, anyone with a quick dash really.
So counterplay to him is rather low, immobile champs get completely screwed but some counterplay exist.
However when you have no such answer to him then he is OP enough to be ban worthy when good, just ask SKT x)
oh i constantly got yasuo mains in my gold/plat games and they are horrible , 0 teamplay 0 map awareness they always go for the kills feeding they are constantly assholes and even then they can still win the game cause all they need is a fucking lucky throwup
i was a bronze yas and i know every trick and outplay on yas... AIrblade, beyblade, windwall animation cancels, keyblades, i can do them all, u cant assume bronze yasuos are ALL SHIT
'chimps'? Why so toxic
I doubt that, considered my entire flex season trying that out was ruined by multiple teams of toxic yasuo mains that just wanted to braindead in ranked because 'flex is normals 4 fun logic'.
Maybe in EU Yasuo players are alright?
I dont classify people as yasuo mains. I have respect. My games get ruined by all champions, not just Yasuo, do no worry
In ranked after you lose in NA you can look at the completely unskilled bonobo and you will often find its literally a Yasuo mastery 7 more often than what is comfortable. Entire seasons have been ruined from their mains here, m8.
Respect is for the respectable.
I got a skin for Yasuo in a chest (high noon) and played him in a normal match. Am i the scum of humanity now?

I believe the #1 Korean player about a year ago said something along the lines of: "Yasuo being so incredibly powerful that the number 1 opponent for Yasuo to deal with is actually himself. Because he has so much power and ability to turn the game around, a lot of players ruin a chance at success while the chance of success is usually impossible for the enemy player to achieve."
I'm not gonna witch-hunt the video from a year ago but they basically went on to say that Yasuo is so powerful that if you could learn how to control him, he'd be unstoppable.
similar to lee sin , you cant counter them , they can fuck up thats all

By that logic zoe with a below 50% winrate in all elos deserves buffs too
oh no now riot will buff zoe thx... these fanboys think that winrate is relevant , mostly noob assholes play yasuo anyway so that champ is this op that still manage to have 50%+ winrate
Wow it's almost like a ban rate that doesn't correlate to his performance is because of players refusing to recognize that he isn't actually strong, rather than a sign of him being overpowered.
Why does it even matter? His game play is thematically frustrating to play against and people feel hopeless against him especially when he's ahead.
If his ban rate is high because he's not even OP shows you how seriously corrupted the champion design is, generally people ban out straight up broken champions not annoying or anti-fun.
Half the roster is frustrating to play against though :l
Half of them haven’t been sitting as the most banned champion for months now have they?
But that still doesnt disprove the fact they are just annoying, if not more annoying than a yasuo. Most people just hate him to hate him(goes towards banning too).
i hate him so much i ban him 100% , i dont want to see him ever again
Yasuo has been the most banned champion for
monthsyears now.
I corrected the typo in your thread title.
There is a reason why this game is in its current state, has lost TONS of players, and is getting worse patch after patch.
Think about all the absurd changes they've done during these last MONTHS. How can someone think they're gonna do better?
by the way, third most picked champ. http://www.lolking.net/charts#/Most%20Popular%20Champions?region=all&slice=patch&tier=all%20ranked&map=summoner's%20rift&queue=ranked&chart_type=Most%20Popular%20Champions&matchup_chart_type=top&champion_id=84
if he wasn't OP why wud he be played that much? illuminati confirmed
Maybe because he is fun?
he is fun because he needs nearly 0 effort , he is op thats why they play him
Nearly 0 effort? A high end mechanically intensive champion relying on twitch reflexes and constant movement to survive is "near 0 effort"? I think youre confused with sona.
[{quoted}](name=Pika Fox,realm=NA,application-id=3ErqAdtq,discussion-id=I8PcKw9a,comment-id=0013000000000000,timestamp=2018-08-08T17:42:51.850+0000)

There is absolutely none of what you're describing in Yasuo's kit. Yasuo is braindead easy. He has no cooldowns or costs.. If he messes up anything, he gets infinite chances to try again..
Yeah, no. Either youre joking, or dont know what youre talking about.
Q is a 3 proc system. 2 hits gives you your tornado for the third. You cant hold a proc for more than a few seconds.
W is on an over 20s CD, and is his main tool to save himself.
E has an internal CD per target that is fairly lengthy. If he just spams E, he will run out of options to E to.
Ult CD late game may be low, but is still gated by displacement, which yasuo cant freely access.

Herr derr, look at me, I can open up the tooltip and copy and paste. Good for you, bud. Proud of you. Just so you realize since you seem to be a monkey who has never played Yasuo, his Q is on less than a 1s cooldown with 1 item and boots, which means that he has a spammable, no cooldown knockup that is freely up almost constantly. His W blocks FULL ULTIMATE ABILITIES and some champions ENTIRE KITS. His E is extremely reliable as waves are on specific timers, and easy to predict, and his ultimate is one of the most ridiculously overloaded abilities in the game. A reliable 20s cooldown hard disable that is able to be proc'ed by any knockup at a tower and a half range that not only bursts, but gives massive penetration, A FULL SHIELD, and a reset.
It's pretty sad when even professional players say that Yasuo is braindead and that you don't outplay a Yasuo, you let him outplay himself. Back to the zoo there monkey.
Q is essentially an auto attack, and a melee one at that. Of course its going to have a low CD, and if hes smacking you with it, hes in range of literally anything you can throw at him.
His w blocks ultimates. And? It blocks all projectiles, if your ult is a projectile you can just wait until he uses W like everyone else. He needs to use it early in fights, so its not really hard to do.
If pro players say hes braindead, theyre boosted as fuck. Or severely underestimating the skill floor required to play him, as most pro players have the skillset necessary to play him just picking him up. And he has plenty of counterplay, hes a fucking squishy melee. 2 autos hes dead.
