"Play zed, so you will learn how to play against"

Won lane against a 3-1-1 katarina even though I was 1-2-0 while being 5cs behind. My WEQ combo was doing 40% of her health even when she was rushing zhonyas as first item. I had hexdrinker and a long sword. After that she got a kill, being 4-1-1, and as soon as I finished that armor pen item from youmuu I snowballed HARD. I was being able to kill her by myself even when she was 3 kills ahead and equal farm. The only mistake she made sometimes was not to use shunpo to dodge my WEQ, which sincerely is undodgeable if you don't have a dash/teleport. So yes, I still have no idea what to do against zed. And I ended the game 11/4/3 with 216 cs at 28min despite losing lane. Their adc had QSS as third item ( She was fed as fuck ) , their mid had a zhonyas, their jungle was a tank gragas, their top was a gnar, their support a thresh. And despite all this, I still snowballed hard. Zed needs nerfs.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again - There aren't really that many champions that are overbuffed. It's the items that cause issues. Zed can stay the way he is for all I care. Change itemization against them.

Exactly this. I don't have an issue with Zed, I have an issue with how expensive zhonyas is, and how easy it is for zed to get a hex drinker and become almost unkillable for an ap mage

This is a double problem so. Even if zhonyas was more useful, zed would still have a really strong itemization. Zhonyas only prevents him from mindless diving you as soon as he sees you. His endless poke is still a issue IMO, as he doesn't get punished that hard for missing his WEQ combo

Zed is not overbuffed because he wasn't buffed at all except for the new item. The problem is how ap itemization got nerfed and how he is never nerfed where he should be, instead of riot lovetaps like 5% less ult damage or his base atk speed. God, he even got a new strong item for him

Isn't that exactly what I just said? Also, he was buffed. They increased the cast range of his shadow.

Another thing - "Overbuffed" in this context would be a simile for "overpowered."

Overbuffed, at least IMO, means that a champion got too many buffs. Isn't zed's case though.

Fair enough, but that's how I meant it anyway. A simple miscommunication, but we seem to be on the same page, anyway.

he has high base damage. he does too much damage. I was doing 70% of ezreal health with EWQ combo. and I had half a yommous.

Zed-wise he only needs a nerf so passive doesn't work on minions.

Item wise maw(not hexdrinker) needs to have 10MR+Lifegrip passive removed

Aside from that zed and maw are fine.
