Ezreal: Arcane Shift
Is there a reason it doesn't target nearest champs? Doesn't matter much on AD ezreal, but every AP ezreal game I play it inevitably triggers me mega hard at some point.

It doesn't target nearest champ because the idea is that if you're gonna arcane shift into a group of champs and what you're aiming for is to kill that 10 health guy, you don't want your ability to go to a full health champ. It targets the champ that the game believes is the most vulnerable and closest to death. And then nearest champ.
*this is just what i've read around. don't have actual game evidence of this.
It targets the nearest unit.
Pretty sure it targets the highest priority unit
Edit: im wrong. Guess its a bug. Thought thats how it always works
Riot stated that if his E targeted champions first, it wouldn't leave room for counterplay.
You might think of Ahri's W and R at this point and how it contradicts the statement above, but Riot once said that Ahri's W and R should work the way Ezreal's E works.
That was months ago, still no changes about it, riiiiight.
Oh... His main source of damage comes off multiple skillshots.... You'd think a guided E wouldn't be that big a deal on such a champion. But really I don't care too much, I was just curious, and made this after I got some heat for letting a guy die in ARAM (cos there were minions between me and enemy so I knew E wouldnt hit)

Isn't Ezreal putting himself in danger the counterplay?
Anyways, it could work how Sona's Q works, it auto targets champions at a certain range but past that range it just goes for the closest thing.
It targets the unit holding the lollipop
