How certain things pass riots server,PBE and get released into the live servers is beyond me.

because players there tryhard with their mains instead of actually testing stuff and report it to riot. After that they are surprised that nobody test it , which is actually why that server is all about. Same like WoW beta ... people got access to beta , they rushed to level 40 so they can do duels outside SW / org. and when the game released they complained that nobody tested the game... xD

Ummmm is this a troll post? Since riot has said why before. Like 7 people aren't even to make balance decisions.

O wait you're not making a post about a problem you're making a post just to show you hate something. You no actually argument you just want to hate something. I can prove this by looking at the champions you listed you listed champions releases.

Like if you think ANY of those champions you listed were beyond broken on release you clearly haven't played much.

New champions should be like that IF RIOT DOESN'T KNOW WHERE THE POINT OF BALANCE IS FOR THEM THEN THEY CAN'T ACTUALLY BALANCE.

Internal QA testing is probably more for glitches, testing new stuff, or visuals. Riot know what they want a champ to do and as long as it fits their design and does it as they plan that's all they are testing for.

PBE is for bugs and many builds in PBE are extreme and playtesters don't build properly. Riot don't truely know the full extent of how a champ will fair until releasing to the true playtesters. Us (and pros). We will abuse the champs, items or runes to the fullest extent and only then does this show where Riot need to make adjustments.

I remember when Sylas was announce so many people complained about his Ult, how OP it would be yet some of us just said "Wait, why is he healing for 500+ HP?" Maxing W allowed him to out heal any fight with his E shield. At level 9 when he'd have like 1300-1500 HP (based on items), he'd heal 500+ when below 40% HP, that's an entire 3rd of his HP with just a point and click which also dealt damage. This heal is now 260 (plus a better ratio), that's basically 50% less of a heal now and it exists like this because of how we (and pros) used him.

Believe it or not, the PBE is meant for functionality, not whether or not if the champ is healthy upon release. League doesn't care about that in the PBE especially since their community is very small. I remember writing a large board about the Warwick update and a couple of changes in the game in the past before and all I got was a response of "your response is too late and does not belong here." 2 weeks later they released his changes to the live servers. Turns out I was right and they did the changes anyways... BTW, their boards are very different. They don't want constructive criticism. They just want an unhealthy mind to contort to their every demand and it is very demeaning to realize that. So now I just play it for shits and giggles while occasionally reporting bugs and functionality problems. This kind of treatment is very tiring.

The PBE is not used for balance decisions unless the champion is actually batshit broken there. Like, unless a champion's pushing 70%+ winrate, it's useless.

The PBE is too small of a server with too much of a skill variation between everyone to actually be useful for any kind of balance decision. It's used primarily for large-scale bugtesting.

Also, Akali's balance issues were entirely in high elo. The PBE would have been useless for that, because the PBE is not high elo by any measurement.

Riot tests things out on their personal servers for months before anything comes to the PBE. The PBE is then just used mainly for bugs, as LiVE servers will be a much better catch for major issues in balancing as they are far bigger than either of those.
