Hey Riot, can we make a big open discussion for Evelynn?(PLEASE)

These small changes aren't helping on PBE.

--First, I would like for us to have a clear view point on what role we are having Evelynn clearly doing. Meaning... Is she a bruiser? Is she an actual Assassin? Is she a tank?

--Second, the main issue I have with Evelynn is that I'm extremely broken early game and extremely useless late game. See the issue here?-

--Third, Stealth mechanic from level 1 is broken hands down. This needs to be addressed in order for her to be balanced properly. (This is my opinion although I find even with the current jungle I can just go sit on lanes after one single camp, is that even fun for the enemy?)

Just all in all I really would like for Evelynn to be talked about amongst the entire community on what to actually do with her atm.

-What are the reasons Evelynn is so strong early? What are the downsides to Evelynn? Why does she fall off so hard? -What role do we want Evelynn to actually fill and how can we adapt her kit to suit that need. -Would swapping stealth to a passive on ultimate allow the enemy to have more to work with? Example They can be prepared and ward at the appropriate time. -What do we want to do with Evelynn's late game that is so bad atm? What do we want as Evelynn players? What is workable with good gameplay for the enemy?

Please can we have an open discussion of what we the actual players want out of Evelynn?

Bump for awareness.

  1. Eve is strong early due to HEAVY lane pressure. It's the same problem she had pre-rework.
  2. She falls off late game because she's an Assassin with no mobility and/or a Bruiser with no base damage.
  3. I would love for Eve to be a Skirmisher again (semi-tanky assassinish thing that moves in and out of combat). That could be accomplished by giving her back her OLD kit, turning her W into a damageless Charm, and moving her stealth to her Ult active.

That would allow her to run Skirmisher (Trinity/Tanky) or AP Assassin.

I play a ton of Evelynn so I'm aware of why she is strong early and horrible late game. It's just an example of what Riot needs to address with the community. Although I highly disagree with losing move speed on W. I absolutely love this ability on Evelynn.

A discussion would be great, but I'd settle for their thoughts on what direction they wanted to push her in with the Ravage/Malice changes.

So the issue is that she trades late game power for early strength? In that case no, I don't see the issue. Not every champion is required to be relevant at all stages of the game. Eve has a great early game and if you can use that to your advantage and get your team snowballing, then hopefully you won't need to make it to late game.

I was answering the questions in your bulleted points you doof =P

I would personally prefer getting some form of the old Eve back, but that probably won't happen.

A lower impact solution would be to either:

  1. Make green/yellow wards spot Eve and give her the little '!' above her head so she knows that she has been spotted. This would open up a tone of kit power that could be spread around elsewhere.

  2. Give her W a few seconds of active true stealth and then give her a new Innate (Heal from Malice and Spite, kthx). Again, this would mean wards can spot her coming and allow a lot of kit power to be invested elsewhere.
