I'm pretty sick of amatuer hour
Riot, can you hire some people who have advanced degrees in game theory and mathematics and statistics? Because, you frequently make changes to items or champions that the whole community says, "this will make this or that champ too strong" and then a couple months later you guys say " yeah this or that champ is too strong".
How come it takes us 2 seconds to look at a proposed change and realize its nonsense and yet you guys can not do the same?
You have champs that are low risk high reward, like Zed and Leblanc, who have the advantage of dispensing and not having to react to, near instantaneous high reward low risk burst damage. You have champions that have more CC and mobility and yet, they don't do significantly less damage. Its almost as if you guys don't understand the value of mobility and CC. You have tanks that do incredible damage with incredible moblity---what the drawback of being a tank again? Gee, I wonder why Shyvanna an Voli have such high win rates. rolls my eyes
I don't care if you guys are "gamers too". That is irrelevant. You guys can't balance a game because you don't hire the right kind of people. OR you purposely keep things unbalanced with frequent changes to drive champion sales.
A few years ago your company was pulling in a couple hundred million a year. Now you are over 1 BILLION a year, and yet the amount of responses we get from Riot on these boards is pathetic.
You guys should be progressing in your understanding of balancing this game driven by people who are experts in game theory and statistical analysis , not continuing to give us the same BS year after year. Your profits should translate into hiring more and better people to give the customers a better experience, which will attract an retain more players.
You guys need to pull your heads out of your asses. Don't think we don't notice. Don't think for a moment your players aren't slowly starting to loathe you and question your credibility as game designers. I promise you millions of us are waiting for a better game to come along so we can bail on you guys.
