Why not just give Challace 10% Cdr and Athene's 30% Cdr?

Morello should be more about the Ap and Grievous Wounds, while Athene's more about the Mana and Cdr.

Now that I think of it I haven't even touched since they nerfed the MR and buffed Ap.

Yea this definitely needs to happen.

Athenes is an item that ruined AP casters. Its entire concept is flawed. Casters should be gated by mana, especially if they're buying a lot of CDR and spamming all day. Even more so if they pack high utility.

Besides, athenes is the poke item, morello's is the teamfight item.

They're already distinct enough, and Morello's already received a pretty hefty nerf due to the GW changes.

That had nothing to do with the discussion, but I could call you out for being a biased AP main.

30% CDR would be beyond stupid. If you want high CDR, you have two items to buy, and your damage will suffer for it, like it should.

Or, you know, you could use CDR runes like everyone else.

I dont want new CDR item, I'm actually against easy way to max CDR. There are comments that explain why I dont want by me. You should sacrifice somethings for max CDR, that can be items and runes. I'm rune guy, I use %20 CDR.

I just didn't like your argument about poke champions. That was in s3. There is no endless poke power anymore.

I think 30% might be a bit much, maybe 25% percent.

I think there is a choice at the moment. You either get a little bit more damage or a little bit more mana regen. It isn't a big choice, but it exists.

Before the most recent changes to the two items, nobody bought Athene's. Now it is bought over Morello's an appreciable portion of the time. There is a fine balance and an additional 10% CDR - or even 5% - could ruin it.

EDIT: Also, 10% CDR on the challice of harmony would make the build path for Athene's much, much better.
