Pacifist Champion?

I remember a while ago when there was an aks Riot about Ivern, they mentioned they were thinking of making him 100% pacifist. Pacifist as in he doesn't deal any damage what so ever, instead he just buffs his teammates. They scraped the idea because they felt like it didn't fit his character, but I'm curious if a champion like this will ever see the light of league. I think a support who relies entirely on supporting their team/debuffing the enemy is such an interesting concept. The closest champions I see to this type of gameplay is probably Janna, Bard, and Ivern.

If you ask me, Sona is the best candidate for this spot, but I highly doubt Riot would do that to her.

This type of champion would be a supp bottom only and think of this, your adc dies on lane, jungle isn't near what do you do then? There are situations for a supp where he need to somehow handle a lane if the adc is dead or afk for a while.. a champ like that is just way to team dependent so thus it can never fit in this game..

league is a game where stats matter to much for this to be a viable champion. Maybe if everyone was level 18 from the beginning it could work.

I feel like it would be a really cool concept, but it would be a broken champion due to making them viable would make them too strong.

I can always dream...

Sona is a 2nd AP carry. You run Kleptomancy on her for the q aa combo and get $ for it. Her damage at like 3 items is insane; she can kill a squishy with her q and empowered aa with item 3100
