Why do champs that completely molest lower elos but suck in high elos even exist?

You think anyone enjoys playing against these guys, low or high elo? Riot won't do shit to them because "They're not that good in higher elos." No shit they're not gonna be good in higher elos. In higher elos, everyone goes full tank with maybe one damage item and runs away from 99% of all fights ever, because that's what they consider "balanced and fun." The only reason Riven is considered a pain in higher elos is because she has the ability to run away from every teamfight. Her massive damage? They don't give a shit about that. They like watching auto-reliant ADC's burn in hell. Elo hell.

Oh, please. If anyone make any post complaining about those three champs, people just like you would comment "They're not good in high elos." I've gotten that response so much, I stopped checking op.gg, since it's apparently so fake.

it hurts when you are told the truth right? they aren't struggling in high elo games in the slightest and their winrates aren't even that much more different at lower elos either... yes they do slightly better at lower elos but they still do just as fine in high elos. Kennen is used in pro play, that should be telling you that he isn't even struggling to begin with since pro players actually use solo queue to test whether or not a pick would be decent before using them in scrims

They just aren't played in high elo. Those champions capitalize on player weaknesses rather than their champion's strengths. That doesn't mean they can't be played in high elo. Everybody makes mistakes.

Just look at their playrates. Annie is at a 5% playrate, illaoi is at a 2% playrate.

They're good in low elo, but they don't have phenomenal winrates in low elo or high. They also aren't issues in competitive. So there's no real reasoning behind nerfing someone like annie or illaoi.

man, your perception of high elo is pretty skewed from reality. You're so convinced that tanks are op that you think everyone builds tanky? If you think that's the case, why don't you follow suit and climb?
